I enjoyed in Inquisition that the Inquistor couldn't have everyone. It shouldn't be Inquistor sexual for every damn member of the group. Life doesn't work like that.

When all is said and done the writers and developers have the right to create the characters how they envisioned them to be.  The only thing those sound files are going to do is bring in alot of hate to the fandom.

I agree with the sexual preferences, but you can't say life doesn't work that way when talking about video games..I mean...I never saw a breach in the sky yet in the game they have one?

It is, but it may not be Cullen's preference. That's not me saying I have anything against it (because I don't) and that's not the argument here. The point is characters have their preferences too.

 

For example actors don't call themsevles bi simply to pander to all audiences. Such is life. We all have our personal preferences. Characters should be entitled to this too.

I think they did the dialogue but did NOT do any romance animations.

 

And Dragon Age Confessions has already shut off confessions because they got a post wishing straight people dead because of these sound files.

 

I know this is an unpopular opinion...I am happy the way the romances turned out. I have done one for Dorian as well as Cullen and just started one for Solas.  They're all great the way they are.

and I don't think there will be DLC with bi Cullen or smth like that. I remember Alistair got dudeWarden action in his sound files and Kaidan in ME1 too. It's nothing new about Bioware, they (don't know why) always do this kind of things. O.o

Every romance scene would've required different animations for male quizzies and stuff so they probably ran out of time. If they were to add it back in I highly doubt they'd make us pay for it, that would just cause a massive shitstorm that I think they'd rather avoid.

I also think when they do DLC it will be story based. They won't do DLCs that cater to specific fandoms because you are right...there would be too much rage

Not necessarily. They always have actors record every line in the game in every way possible, to make the most of recording sessions without need for recalls later. That's how femShepard had lines for Ashley's romance and mShepard had lines for Kaidan's romance, even though they never planned to put those romances in the game, or how male Hawke has the line about wearing festooned dresses in MoTA. Doesn't mean they ever planned to make the romance bi, just that they had the lines recorded in case they became necessary for one reason or another. If people dig enough into the files there're probably male lines for Sera and female lines for Dorian too, in there.

I would almost assume they have an active working script that they have the actors run lines on before there's a concrete finished story/plot/character arc. That way they cover all possible bases and can pick and choose what gets animated and goes to the final cut.

 

And seriously I mean zero offense with my opinion on his sexuality. I just like that Inquisition took a stand in the fact that people have personal preferences....so it made the game feel more real.

That's my thinking... although we did have Witch Hunt in Origins, who's entire plot seemed to fit that of a male Warden who romanced Morrigan and did the Dark Ritual with her at the end of Origins?

 

Sure, you could run it through with other Wardens, but I never really bought why they would spend so much time and effort into tracking her down, especially the Orlesian Warden who never even met her?

 

The only one that comes close is a fem!Cousland who'd married Alistair and become Queen, who had probably the most reason to track down the mother of their husband's child... to make sure that she wasn't planning to use him against Ferelden at some point in the future?

eh, I'm not even convinced it's real. not until a Dev confirms or they find more lines (with the male PC talking, from both voices) it kinda sounds edited. not getting my boxers in a bunch until then
