I had the hugest crush on Summer Glau for her role in Firefly. She definitely reminds me a lot of Cole - they both have that odd, abstract way of looking at things and that powerful sense of empathy. They'd totally be best friends in an alternate universe. Now I have the urge to marathon Firefly again this winter break. Woo.
Not that it's really going to be anything like a marathon at all with just one season...

I've seen him on stage - never thought of Fable III at all. He's mesmerising.
Most of the Fable Rp community over on Tumblr uses Fassbender as their Logan face claims, so I'm used to associating him with Logan. It doesn't help either that he did the voice for him in the game either. lol
I think it would all depend on how he would portray Cullen, that's what would make me really decide whether he should or not. Though I'd be surprised if he couldn't pull it off with all his acting skills.
