But no way no how are random Orlesians coming to my Quizzy's wedding!  They are having a small family ceremony in Ostwick and then disappearing from the world for several months.  Cassandra can manage everything for a bit.

 

My Quizzie is like, hmmm... should we go to Ostwick where my mother will hate Cullen and make him feel like sh!t 100% of the time he's there for not being rich and not having a grand noble title and my family of vultures and vipers will fall all over themselves trying to spin our wedding into a political maneuver; Ooooor should we go to South Reach where we could have a tiny quiet ceremony at the local Chantry with Cullen's warm and welcoming family supporting us, and I could get all the hot gossip about how cute Cullen was as a baby from his super cool sister Mia who writes all those hilarious letters?

 

It answers itself.

 

They would elope into the dead of night one fine day, and come back two weeks later, grinning to themselves like idiots, and Josephine would promptly have a minor stroke upon learning that they just up and got married like that, and she couldn't even host an outrageously expensive grand ball for the event.

I don't mean to be a buzzkill...but those lines are actually available for every romance. I got them for Cullen, Cass, and Dorian so....

Thanks for that info. I had yet to hear an explanation for the "noble names" thing that made sense if it was the Inquisitor's romance being discussed.

It would be nice if someone could do the wedding mod, the one for DA:O was brilliant, it was my second favourite mod first being the ability to kiss Cullen...which my mage did about a couple of hundred times ( in DA:O)....it's still one of the best kissing scenes in game, first being Cullen kissing the Quizzy for the first time.

Two mods I wanna get now for DAO is what looks like the inquisition cullen, and not the slightly mushy faced vanilla one. And then this fab amell romance one. Haven't played the mod yet but looks adorable

I am hoping we get a way to make animations even if no toolset was released. Bc OMG. The possibility for brilliant cullen scenes would be endless.

Well it's Bioware so probably not Quizzy ''disappearing'', but something like ''FIND AND BRING CULLEN FROM CORYPHEUS BACK TO THE WEDDING''

okay, the ONLY reason cullen wasn't romanceable by a male inquisitor in the final game is because his cinedesigner ran out of time.

 

 

Holy crap. That might explain a lot about why Cullen is gated to humans and elves as well. Rejoice, those of you who wanted to romance Cullen a certain way but couldn't! wooOOooo

We have always known this, though. This isn't news at all, Mike said it openly in the romance announcement thread that they race and gender gated Cullen because they couldn't make animations for all races and genders for the extension romances. I don't get how any of this is surprising, we've know this was a technical limitation for months.

Really good of her to point out that there were no narrative or political reasons for it. From reading quilari's tumblr it's clear she worked really hard and for really long hours getting Cullen's scenes right.

 

I sort of wish they'd admitted to this earlier though, because there is a lot of drama about this going around on Tumblr. Would have saved people some heartache.
