All while Cullen's standing there, facepalming...
I AM SO DONE WITH YOU, INQUISITOR.

SO. DONE.

I have this image of Cullen being sent to gather herbs with his soldiers only to come back to skyhold and find out leli, Josie and Quizzy wanted them for their baths!
I AM SO DONE WITH YOU, INQUISITOR.
SO. DONE.
Oh, the faces
I can sort of see him entering the War Room with his hard-picked armful of Crystal Grace and Quizzy being all "flowers? For me? You shouldn't have!"
"yes, but no- but you ordered me to pick them. For, er, crafting."
Quizzy: "of course I did...." *winks*
Cue much giggling from Leli and Josie, and much adorable confused embarassment.
Pretty much how I pictured it. Perhaps she can invite him for a bath to make it up.
I found this to be interesting about Mother Giselle, that I also really like her before that. And then that whole episode really p!ssed me off. But I liked that they didn't make her, or anyone, the perfect saint.
I took it as her being concerned about him as Tevinter, not as gay, since she apparently will have the same conversation with a male or female Inquisitor and assumes in both cases they're involved?
Edit: sorry, didn't finish reading the thread. ![]()
"Erm, General, they're NOT picking flowers. The troops are learning valuable skills in woodscraft. It will no doubt come in handy should they ever wind up fighting in the woods ... but if you think it beneath them, I am sure Sister Leliana has some scouts who know everything about it already. They could do it ..."
"I, no, Maker's Breath. To work!"

I have never had that.
lol
That look.
I also interpret it as Giselle being more concerned with Dorian being Tevinter, a mage and presumably following the heretical version of the Tevinter Chantry and it might make things even worse if the Quizzie is a mage.
Really, given her seeming lack of concern over the details of the Quizzie's own very real private affairs in her haste to spread the rumors, I'd say that sex is the very least of her concerns because she clearly makes no effort to worry about whether or not the rumors about you and Dorian being an actual item are true.

That was my thought too. My impression was she is generally embarrassed about the whole thing but thinks it's better to bring it to the Quizzy's attention rather than have it said behine his/her back.

Does she get upset over a male quizzie with Iron Bull? If not, considering the chantry dislikes the qun almost as much as the Tevinters, I'd say that narrows it down to him being a Tevinter mage.
I was disappointed because I'd liked her til that point (though my Dalish has wanted to thump her a time or two for assumptions, but everyone's making those assumptions about the non-human quizzies). Still, it's nice that they gave her a few normal flaws.

I still like Mother Giselle, but I am disappointed that she chooses to indulge in damaging gossip after failing to remove Dorian the first time. I can respect her worries and dislike. Not everyone is going to like everyone in life, but she went about things the wrong way. We all screw up from time to time though.
If I catch her at it again ...
Starting at 2:08 is just

Kudos for Bioware for letting us help Cullen with his withdrawal.

I love that he references Aveline's 'Don't' sign!
Aveline. I still need some good artwork of her with that sign. I wonder what I can manage with a screenshot and Photoshop? XD

Saying that though, she -doesn't- bring it to the Quizzy's attention, you walk in on her having a go at Dorian about it. And then if you pick the middle option you find out she's been helping spread those very rumours..: so I tend to see it as her running her own game to make the Inquisition more suitable for her tastes.
Well actually she initially confronts Dorian about it, the Inquisitor simply happens to walk in on them arguing. But at least she does try to confront him directly with what she's heard about him, instead of simply continuing to share the rumors. That it comes, for most, on the heels of the personal quest is mostly coincidence. I've had games where it hasn't, so I'm assuming at this point they're unrelated.
As for the whole thing with his parents, I don't think she knew what it was really about. If you read the letter it mostly just says that they are worried about their estranged son and want to contact him. The subterfuge is their idea, too. Giselle goes along with it because it's what they ask and sometimes people are too proud to see what's good for them.
I actually quite liked her. I didn't get the feeling at all that she was judging my Dalish for not believing. Of course, she did explain everything in terms of Andrastianism, but then, that is pretty much her job.
Yes she does confront Dorian first. I guess I didn't read her intentions as evil, more concern about influence he as a Tervinter mage. And instead of denying it she admits it to the Quizzy.
As for the letter doesn't she tell you about it and lets you decide what to do. I thought she was trying to help at that point.
Sure she might gossip a bit but so do a lot of people, that doesn't mean she was trying to be hurtful. My overall impression of her was nice lady whom I disagree with but could still like.
