Good grief - this was brought up several times yesterday and we all decided it's best not to discuss this here. There is a never-ending "non-merry-go-round" happening in the Feedback forum if you wanted to join in on the poo-flinging...

Not sure if devs have responded to the situation, other than the one Lola allegedly contacted via Twitter (dev who confirmed he was going to be bi). Not sure if a DLC is possible or if only PC people might be lucky and hope for mods...

I don't use Tumblr much so I wouldn't know if there's some sort of hashtag for it, but I know people have been saying it's on there all over the place.

And honestly... I don't care if people complain or are rude. I've been in this fandom for years... done my part... I want to talk about the possibility of romancing Cullen with my inquisitor. It is my right as a fan. I've never been rude about it. I'm not gonna be confrontational; I just want to squee about the romance *shrugs* Don't worry; I don't intend on responding to anyone who comes at me negatively.

I know it's said to be challenging with Frostbite 3, but I still have hope for mods. I never want to underestimate the modding community. I mean you can see that Bioware worked their butts off to pack content into the game and it still wasn't perfect. I'm playing a Solasmance this time (next will be Dorian, I think) and at the ball he wears this ugly hat with what I presume was supposed to be a nose guard that goes right through his face. The real kicker is that the scene at the end has his arm going right through my inquisitor's torso ... There was only one option for Solas and it wasn't perfectly implemented, but I'm super proud of what they were able to achieve in the time they were allotted.

Like I said yesterday, creating a bi-sexual cullen romance mod may not be possible. The tools just aren't there and it's unlikely they ever will be even with the amazing coders we have. 

 

DLC seems unlikely as well. I would've thought the dev's would just want to focus on story related DLC but they did say there was cut content that they wanted to add at a later date so fingers crossed for all the people who want bi-sexual cullen. 

 

However I would just like to say to everyone that until we get a response from a dev who was part of development for the entirety of DAI confirming one way or the other take what that person said on twitter with a pinch of salt. Game development is very fluid and things change on a day to day basis.

LOL!!! I heard about the "hat" situation with Solas but didn't know exactly what happened. Yeesh! 

 

Well I do have faith in modders. I mean in truth it is the reason I bought a PC. That's sad, isn't it? That's how much I wanted it and how much I hoped lol Even now, with the true possibility of modders making it happen, I'm not sure it was worth the heavy credit card bill. But oh well. How sweet it would feel!! Modders are already working on hair and armor; I've been told removing a gender check would be simple. But... this would go beyond a gender check. This would be implementing stuff that's allegedly already in the game, just somehow "unlocking" it. Huh. I don't know.

Hmm someone told me it was possible, just not for awhile. Well... we'll see. I can only wait and hope. It is painful that this was done to us (if the dev was correct in what s/he said; true, could be some miscommunication going on there).

Ask R2s? Yeah I'm agree with you, there is already a thread elsewhere to debate over the matter. Lots of spits & hating there.

I dunno; doubt it. This would be a tiny minority of fans who are upset/sad about this. Probably not worth addressing as far as the marketing/PR team are concerned. Though I would expect individual devs to maybe say something about it. But nothing official.
