Actually since BW has had same idea I don't think Cullen is so plainly straight. He was just into female Amell/Surana, pretty similar situation as with Kaidan in ME I guess. Also people can became aware of their sexuality later on their life and if the Cullen's m/m content was cut off just because lack of time, it could mean that he's still bisexual ^^

Well I think this is point that has been discussed a lot before gatings were announced. What comes to Dorian, well some people might not care about bugged story but I think it would be quite big issue for his character cause that would mean it wouldn't work. I wouldn't mind another gay character to be modded available but Dorian wouldn't work in my eyes. It would be similar as cutting Cullen's lyrium addiction or his struggle with himself from past. It would remove the story.

I don't disagree with you. But my point is that if it's okay for one it shouldn't not be okay for another. Those two were my examples. And I would dl a bi Dorian mod even if it did give story inconsistencies. Anyone else who wanted to do so could do it knowing it'd be taking away from the true impact of his story. But still, it's there if they want to do that.

If it's okay for people to want a bi Cullen mod, then it should be okay for people to want a bi Dorian one. Instead, those tweets were making it seem like the idea was sacrilege. Just my take.

As I mentioned in one of my posts several pages back. I am a black and white thinker. All or nothing.

Well, before the series I always imagined the Hound quite young actually. I know that now with the series on air, it'll be quickly considered as improper.

Maker, I'm really bad at what's not to say thing am I?

Don't worry about it, sug! *hug*

I actually think Sandor is more Jaime and Cersei's age, so mid to late thirties I think. Hang on. I am just going to check my book.

I think you guys have ridden this horse into the ground. Can we move along if there's nothing new?

It's supposed to be a one-shot, but it seems Cullen had so much bottled up inside him, he's making me write the story of his life (sort of).

Characters can do that to their writers, sometimes. I'm just letting him confess his heart out.  ^_^

I was going to say you're working up enough scenes here to make a pretty lengthy story out of  :)

Sure I can move on from it.

Although I'm not sure where the issue is in us conversing about it? We weren't disagreeing (at least I don't think so) and were just exchanging our own views and opinions on the matter.

Anyone that doesn't participate in the conversation doesn't have to.

Cerulion:

Hey there! Thanks for reading the posts! ^_^  The fault is mine. The posts are random bits of text from the fanfic, produced as I'm writing it since yesterday. That's why together they don't make much sense.

The fanfic is almost done. Still need to finish the last part, that is, the final years in Kirkwall and Cullen's departure to Haven.
When it's ready, I'll post the full text on Fanfiction.net and then post the link here for everyone to read.

So, I need to vent.  DA:I triggered my latent/dormant fanfic gene and I've been writing a big stupid long story with all my headcanony stuff in for the last couple weeks, which involved some interactions with my Inquisitor's younger brother and sister (imagining she is the middle of five.)  Only I have just remembered/realised that an Inquisitor Trevelyan is canonically described as the youngest.  This means I either have to eliminate brother and sister all together or find reasons why they wouldn't have been sent to the Conclave instead of her, which is tricky for the sister at least because I had her as a Chantry sister. ><  It also means I need a whole new personality for the brother if I keep him, and they both need to be a lot older than I was imagining them.  Either way, big chunks of the story are borked.

ANNOYED. *cry*

This will teach me to be a dumb blonde.  :(

Folks are just starting to repeat themselves, and not just in your conversation. It's a tough topic and still divisive for lookers on.

Okay... I just got killed in the Fade and get the "Game Over" screen that's really spooky.

Spoiler

Can't help thinking, BW did a kind of DLC (Darkspawn Chronicle) back then in DA:O about what happen if the Warden didn't survive & Alistair take up arm alone to continue until the very end. That'll be a great story if in DA:I the Inquisitor got killed somehow after the Breach had been sealed, and someone from Advisor/Companion takes up the mantle to continue the work

EDIT: I can always picture Cass takes the mantle officially. Somehow it's hard for me to imagine Cullen to take the mantle since I always feel he's the kind of person who prefer to be led than actually leading the top spot. But still, I won't rule out Cullen taking the mantle since we know that he's not the one who will shirk around this kind of responsibility if needed.

Ok, I just took some screenies with my warrior-woman in her heavy armor (haven't gotten beyond kissy with my elfy mage)...no bad clipping:

Spoiler for sex scene screenies!

Spoiler

I can't remember what material that was since it was several levels ago, but I'm pretty sure it was just common leather and fabric. For my mage, I usually go for melee or ranged mitigating materials.

Yea, and it's kind of on-topic as well but I guess we can stop? I don't think we are disagreeing much either. If Dorian's backstory and character wouldn't be interwined with his sexuality I wouldn't mind bi mod for him either.

I love those creepy game over slides... Although I haven't gotten any. (Not meaning that I haven't died... I just haven't gotten the part about the world was borked because I died.)

You know, things happens. Like important phone call when I was in the middle of battle with that final boss in the Fade. :P

Or you can just do it for science: strip all the weapons & equipment for all companions, leave the battle for 5 minutes & you'll see...

Here's Quin Trevelyan who has some glimpses of Chris Hemsworth. Sorry about the quality this was taken by my phone and right now I have DA:I on PS3 so that lowers the quality as well, lol! Thoughts?

Maybe it is something that can be taken to PM as it is something only the two of you are intent on discussing? Yesterday wasn't great and things can get heated regarding this topic with out anyone actually meaning it to. We all went through it yesterday and it is a touchy subject for some.  :)

Mmm, I love non-standard game over screens. It always feels more impactful than the normal "you lost, reload/exit?"

Personally, I'd like to be a part of the GoT conversation instead of the Cullen is bi one. Have we already established that Jamie is amazing, Dany got boring, and lady stoneheart is all effed up?

I read all the books in a marathon, like a book every two weeks, so they aaaall blend together. Hear GRRM is hardly working on the next though :-/

Pretty sure Sandor is the same age as Jamie and Cersei. I forget why I know that, but it's why Cersei trusts the hound to be joffs guard

I just got the line about Cullen being infatuated with a female mage warden...but I imported a male. Maybe the lack of lyrium is getting to him?

I've only gotten one of those, when I died fighting the pride demon in the beginning.

Spoiler

Somehow it was the only main mission I died in, even though I'm playing on hard. I thought I would fail a lot more. :P

Nah, actually I don't even feel that the quizzy's leadership in game is important enough to actually doom the world if he/she fails... I mean, if Leliana or Cullen got killed, it'll be really bad. But if the quizzy died somehow I believe that they'll just continue without him/her... (personal opinion).
