Cass agrees to take the mantle of the Divine even if she admits that she might not be a good person to lead the Inquisition. Cullen's leading the army but it's more like taking care of soldiers & giving advice on whether this thing is feasible on military POV or not. He still needs other people to validate things & not making decision himself. (you can ask Bull about this, he gets excellent overview of everyone).

 

I just get a feeling that both Cass & Cullen doesn't really like being on the top spot but they will do it if necessary, with all the "Duty" mentality.

I'm going to totally disagree with that.  Leading an armed force is not easy job or just a matter of taking care of the soldiers.  I think it's the one area he is totally comfortable with.  Again my opinion.

Well, I'm agree that he surely have the capability to lead on (at least on military matters). Remember how he took command & rally Kirkwall's templars? I'm not ruling him out as taking he whole responsability if needed.

 

I just feel that he might prefer not to lead on the topmost position.

Was it trolls again, or just a lot of differing opinions? Because I'm honestly a little surprised I haven't seen much Cullen hate since the game was released. Either here or in other threads.

For those of you who are completionists, like me, are you able to do play throughs were you don't worry about 100% completion? Or is every play through a beating about beating the game to perfection?

 

I think my "main" play through I have to have 100% complete. But with others, where I'm doing less importance romances or different story paths than what I'd want to otherwise take, it's not as important.

I think my "main" play through I have to have 100% complete. But with others, where I'm doing less importance romances or different story paths than what I'd want to otherwise take, it's not as important.

 

I'm doing a completionist PT, the result is bad. It makes me over-levelled (about 5 level over the recommended level) & now have to go from Hard to Nightmare to actually have some challenge. & I hate those shards. so frustrating.

Mine is the mosaic pieces. Because there are NOT 12 in the Hinterlands.

 

I use Cheat Engine like it's going out of style, so I'm already max leveled and killing everyone on Nightmare with just one hit. LoL. I like the fighting and all that. I just don't want to spend all my time on it. I'd rather just knock 'em out and move on with the story.

Yes I have used my first two games as exploration and that way once I pick my canon character and play it, I will a pattern that will make getting the completionist playthrough easier.

I will still totally take my time with it and it will be on Nightmare.

Nah, actually I don't even feel that the quizzy's leadership in game is important enough to actually doom the world if he/she fails... I mean, if Leliana or Cullen got killed, it'll be really bad. But if the quizzy died somehow I believe that they'll just continue without him/her... (personal opinion).

Except the quizzy is the only one with the power to close fade rifts which is kind of essential to saving the world, so it'd be a bigger problem than just not having a leader.



In other news I have finally reached the next Cullen romance scene which may or may not have resulted in me sending another embarrassing tweet to Greg Ellis.

You know what's the best thing of DA:I & Skyrim? Now I can do my favourite activity, which is trying to run down on a straight line from the topmost spot of a mountain. No armour on.
