From what I think I've understood:

you need to talk to him (Dorian) at least once in Haven, but do not explore all of the dialog options. If you talk to him about everything, something prevents his personal quest in Skyhold from triggering.

I did leave some stuff for Skyhold, but it still didn't trigger.

I think it's supposed to trigger after you ask him about Alexius. I even exhausted Giselle's dialogue options, but it did nothing. :/

I've turned into quite the dragon-slayer in this latest pt, 4 down already even Leliana commented on it at the war-table! although I have to say, I hate their death cries and animations, it makes me so sad I'm out-levelled for them so apart from the materials, they don't drop me much of use but it's fun to see my party buddies suiciding all over the place while I run for the nearest hidey place lol. Normally Cass tanks everything and anything and is awesome but this time I'd decided to switcheroo some of her skills, looked great and sounded like a good plan but she kept taking tonnes of damage and dying..........she wasn't gaining guard atall, so I'd either omitted to give her the right skills or her re-spec had bugged either way it wasn't Plan A so I had to re-spec her again and thankfully, all is well now.

 

Only found out (too late for this run) what the Mercy Crest necklace is for....... do I get 10/10 for that one? (it's not like it actually says on it or anything  ) I'm such a dope lol oh well, there's always next time.

 

I have the Chargers on my team this time around, I didn't realise that you get some extra war-table missions from them, seems pretty cool. On that certain quest of IB's I don't think I could pick the other option now, limited interaction aside, I've grown attached to Krem and the Chargers

 

Did the Ball quest again....it went horribly wrong for me this time around, not quite sure what I did any differently. Still only finished on 99 approval (I wonder if I'm making an ass of something or if it's bugged, I do get to 100 but seem to always drop a point or two somewhere) Missed out on a testimony person but I didn't realise until the confrontation so I had to wing it from there, so I have a sole ruler, it's working out alright I think but it kind of threw me for a loop lol. I caught a little extra dialogue from Cullen, when he is being hounded by the nobles and he is asked if he is married he says "Not yet" but then I caught him saying something along the lines of "I'm taken"   not a direct quote and I don't have subtitles on (yet another reason to switch them on!) but I love all these wee details.

 

I'm trying to do and explore as much as possible before doing the Pride quest, once I'd done that on my previous pt's I had no patience nor want to continue questing, so I ended up skipping loads and heading straight for end-game. I'm trying to avoid that this time around and visit all the places and do as much as my patience allows. The difference already is huge, I'm lvl 20 with still 2 areas to open up I need to do some giant-dodging in Emerald Graves to finish up in there then onto Emprise, if I stick to my plan I'll do the majority of Hissing Wastes too before activating WPHW, that's IF I stick to my plan lol, I'm already thinking about my next Quizzys run

Just finished the game. The ending had an unbelievable amount of weaknesses, but I was surprised to find that the thing that immediately annoyed me the most was that I can't kiss Cullen anymore!! 
 
I wish they took a cue from ME2 (wish they took alot of cues, really) where you can invite your LI to your quarters and just, you know....hang out 

Just finished first play through after 116 hours and I agree with you. So I can't use the under croft!!!. Josie seems to have disappeared from her office as well. Or is that a bug?

It's a small camp you clear out, it has mercs with mabari hounds in it? They've ended up as splat marks on all my runs so far as I didn't wear the necklace lol

Man smell is a very important hottness element, and right now I'm picturing metal and bear fur...which I have no idea how that smells. Do they wear cologne in Thedas? Is there such a thing as deodorant?! Any sweet smelling suggestions so when they

Wow im the polar opposite i always recruit my blades! Cullen mussst have mooooooar agents! And war table missions! Plus theyre handy in keeping down the local mobs, they fight all the things for me

Yeeeaaaah, this is something that's been discussed many times. Realistically... inside that armor all day... it's probably not sweet. But you could prob twist in the smell of leather, maybe lyrium. 

 
The whimsical one I'll leave here is that there is a fan who has made a perfume line: Scent of a Warden.
