I had the "are you alive" stuff but not those first ones about dealing with the demons whilst the Inquisitor took on Corypheus 'n' stuff!

Yeah. I have a feeling they have cut out some huge battle at Haven before the fight with Corypheus. It would make sense because unless everyone but you and the 3 you pick to go with you, aren't doing anything, why wouldn't they just follow you up to the fight with Corypheus. Though from listening to it, I got a DA:O vibe from it. Felt like I was listening to the last words with your companions again. Probably why it was cut.

I enjoy this game, a lot but the story feels like I'm reading random chapters from a book. I miss a lot of stuff, the build up, the tension, all of that. It's disjointed. I'm actually surprised they felt this game was ready to be shipped. In terms of story, very weak. Disappointed in BioWare with this one.

I hope so, though they keep going on about how it's really difficult to patch things into the game, so I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

I don't understand why it has to be patched back in though. The game has been out for a month now. People have completed several play throughs. The content should have been there from the start. It's like G.R.R.Martin publishing the last book in his ASOIAF now, we wouldn't understand it because there's a huge chunk missing.
If it was a case of them running out of time, why not cut stuff like Emprise Du Leon or Emerald Graves which aren't critical to the story at all and could be added as DLC later.

Well, EA wouldn't extend them any more time, I'm sure. Plus, you know, they would have had to cough up the money to keep people working on it for longer. This season is the most profitable for game releases after all. I wish they had had the chance to include everything as well.

Well yeah I agree,I wish they would have cut some of the open areas and focused on the story instead, but if they do patch content, I´m not going to complain
