Someone said it before, Cullen is cullen and there is only one. I bet the face model isn't exact either, little tweaks here and there. My daydreams involve the CG version, not chris h standing in, so yeah we can all *insert here* and that's just hunky dory

I agree that we all have our opinions and as mentioned before I would love to know who was the face model for Cullen. 

 

If Kaidan's (and many other ME characters) was tracked down, hopefully someone can find this one.

 

I don't think Cullen ever had a face model. He had generic chargen face #2 with a few tweaks in Origins, was cleaned up and lost a few wrinkles for 2, and got prettified and primped up for DAI (RIP ramen hair ), but he didn't have a unique face model. I think Dragon Age has never used facescans like Mass Effect, just unique overlay textures for some characters to make their faces more unique.

 

Still, his generic chargen face is prettier than any Hollywood actor.

He had generic chargen face #2 with a few tweaks in Origins, was cleaned up a bit for 2, and got prettified for DAI (RIP ramen hair ), but he didn't have a unique face model. I think Dragon Age has never used facescans like Mass Effect, just unique overlay textures for some characters to make their faces more unique.

 

Still, his generic chargen face is prettier than any Hollywood actor.

 

They did in DA:O, Morrigan's face model was from a ModelMayhem site, and they spoke about Alistair's but they couldn't remember who the man they based him off was, it was just just some random person who turned up for one of their face scan/photo session things.

I'm thinking about someone who can pull off being young. It's been awhile since I've played DAO, but Alistair was barely 20. Or are you talking about DAI Alistair? If so, then no, not Pine.

I had no idea how accurately ME did face scans til I saw a season of Dexter with Miranda in it. Apparently her voice actor and her face model are one and the same and so accurate!

DAI seems to have more texturing and facial structures I'd be surprised if they didn't have a face model, but you may be right. In which case CGI wins, haha.

Alistair in DAO or DAI? Was pleasantly surprised at his appearance in DAI. Warden life treated him well..he confused me away from Cullen for a whole mission!!

What thread was it? I find that some (not all!) other threads are less about conversation and more about stating opinions, stating a different opinion, and then stating a third opinion without anyone actually conversing :-/ I always come back here...

Oh yeah, now that you mention it I remember there were even mods to make them look more like their models. I thought Morrigan looked nothing like her supposed face model, lol.

 

I do like how Ali's managed to keep his features throughout the different games/engines/design changes. You put DAO/DA2/DAI Alistair side by side, you can still clearly see his features all there, despite the aging, weight gain and haircut change.
