What? I haven't seen Kaidans romance. Partly because I couldn't stand him and had him eat a nuke in ME1. In every play through.

Hm, I suggested Michael Fassbender the other night.

 

 

Quite a few here thought he might fit the bill.

Love his cheekbones and jaw but the eyes look wrong.  That mouth with the scar would be pretty sexy.

Oh yeah, now that you mention it I remember there were even mods to make them look more like their models. I thought Morrigan looked nothing like her supposed face model, lol.

 

I do like how Ali's managed to keep his features throughout the different games/engines/design changes. You put DAO/DA2/DAI Alistair side by side, you can still clearly see his features all there, despite the aging, weight gain and haircut change.

lol... I never thought Morrigan's did either. There were a couple of face mods that did a better job. edit: I just repeated what you said. Sorry.

 

And because I want to show off the awesome graphics settings that fontofnothing helped me with (because my card is not awesome) here's some Cullen.

I got SO TICKED OFF when he accused my Shep of cheating...dude he totally dumped her in ME:2! But, I know that's a huge discussion on it's own since people have different views on it. Just my .02!

For me, male Shepard romance with him is actually better. Because ME3 female Shepard mostly act like a giddy school girl around him...and they changed many things I really like about him in ME1.

On the other hand, Garrus become the perfect boyfriend, so...

My female Shepard was single in 90% of my ME2 PT so I can romance Kaidan in ME3. Then I never used female Shepard romance him in ME3 after first time...For some reason I just can't stand the conversation where your Shepard is literally like "We need to go back to Normandy to have sex right NOW!" And he was like "Nay, I'm gonna stay here and enjoy my lunch reeeeeally slowly". I mean...WHO WROTE THAT!?*facepalm

My last Shepard was single for all three games. It was all business playthrough. A challenge to myself. 

It was odd. But made me realize the romances add a nice dimension to the main character.

Well they did the best version of him in ME3.

 

haha yeah he really is a bit of a grumpy LI with a ton of baggage. He does share some traits with Cullen though. I've come to notice some trends with characters and character types/personality in BW games.

I made it to lvl 30 post launch and during beta. I never realized this.

But then again I was playing a male smuggler simply because I had the name Captain Mal Reynolds.When they merged the servers they lost me, because name among other reasons.

 

Maybe I'll wander back to it once I get my new laptop. The Kotaku article makes it seem like it's still in a pretty poor state though.

Hmm since I usually play male characters, I've never gotten to enjoy a "sweep me off my feet" romance because they simply refuse to make that kind of romance for male players BUT in terms of my favorite romances, they would have to be ranked...
