Throwing back to an earlier discussion from today, I met Garrus in the flesh for the first time (and not just a youtube video). I now have him and Kaidan in my party, and I think Kaidan flirted with me already, but I'm playing ME for Garrus (though I have no idea in which game he first becomes an LI).

He'll become your best bro in ME:1, and then will become romanceable in ME:2...then it continues into ME:3...it's a great arc. 

 

You CAN choose to romance someone else in ME:1, and then "cheat" on them in ME:2...then in ME:3 it will give you the choice. My usual playthrough is Kaidan to Garrus and then finally choose Garrus...because he's Garrus.

I've watched the romance arc on youtube already, and actually know the basic stories of the games more or less. I confuse factions sometimes, though. But I've adored the Garrus romance since I saw it.

Definitely! I also plan a dwarf for Cassandra because they did such a good job of animating that combination. And if I decide to go through with the Blackwall romance, I'll pair him with a qunari because I've always wanted a taller woman romance (though I haven't yet seen animations to see if they dodged the "shrink the woman" solution that's usually taken rather than actually animating the height difference, sigh.) In the SWtOR Sith Warrior-Quinn romance mentioned earlier today, I'd always take the tallest body shape for my SW, and he'd be about 6" shorter than her, then apparently put on 9" heels when they kissed

I've never been a fan of Kaidan after the crap he pulls in ME:2...so the way I play it is that my Shep feels betrayed and turns to Garrus as her best friend...which blossoms into more. Oh well, Kaidan's loss!

 

But beware...in ME:2 do not get sucked in by Thane's smexyness! Do not travel down that path...it only leads to heartbreak...he IS very smexy though!

With you on that one- for me Cullen is my #1 DA romance, but Garrus will always remain my #1 all-time Bioware romance period. He is just that great.

I love that Cullen is also a 'calibrating' dork with his trebuchets. It's clearly an indicator of his greatness

So I finally decided to do a self-insert character. I'm amazed at how much my me-character looks like... Me.

OK, I'd rather hurt Kaidan's feelings than Liara's. Because my Shep is definitely going to have her eye on Garrus (I love a guy with a sense of humor). And I've been warned about Thane (not actually sure he's my type anyway).

Before I went to see Hobbit I got to try DAI on my friends laptop and I created Skye Adaar and Milica Trevelyan on it

 

 

 

I didn't have much time so they aren't exactly how I wanted but at least i got some kind of idea what they would look in DAI :3 I also tested the voices and I'm sure that I will pick british for both of them since american voices are too deep for these two ^^
