Yeah, I always shipped Surana/Amell with Alistair.

But in this particular fic, the two had been pining away for each other the whole time, neither truly moving on. She did end up with IB in the end, lol. I can't wait to get out of work this afternoon just so I can log in and make myself feel better by giving my quizzy an imaginary hug...even though my quizzy has nothing to worry about!  :P

Yeah, I can't ship any of the female Wardens with anyone else other than Alistair LOL! That being said, I have a huge emotional attachment to Alistair as it is so that's likely one of the reasons I can't stand the Amell/SuranaXCullen pairing because to me it feels completely wrong.

Yeah. I probably come across as apathetic to the few actors I've met, but typically I just idly chit chat with them, get things signed, and carry on. They are not the character. They are just human. They probably want to be treated like everyone else....at least this is what I tell myself to still the hyperventilating and series of inappropriate suggestions/questions I kinda want to really ask.

I think Greg has to drop his voice to nail Cullen,

Valentine doe sjust use his normal speaking voice. Wonder how phone calls go for him, haha. Bet he's been recognized while calling about the electricity or something.

I'm fine with all the other actors I've met, I can chat and be cool and all that fun stuff.  I don't know what it is about voice actors, but just... I just can't.  It might be all the fanfiction I write, heh.

Yeah, his voice is higher pitched in real life.... not that I watch videos or anything....

Gah, if I could ask Greg Ellis to read a line from one of my fanfictions...that would be awesome. I would die of excitement probably, but it would be awesome.

Hi fellow Cullenites!!!

Its been a long time because I've logged like a ridiculous amount of hours in the game!!! I had my trial playthrough as a female rogue to get it all down, then my canon/completionist playthrough as a super diplomatic, gorgeous female mage (and was able to make Leliana NOT a psycho), then tried as a female elf cause wanted to romance Solas (but pinned for Cullen the whole time, so just gave it up for later).  Now playing as a male warrior and chatting up Cassandra and LOVING it!

FYI, the for this male playthrough, I went off canon and had Alistair as the Grey Warden, still with his mage and in love and trying to do his duty.  It is without a doubt worth it!!!  I urge you all, if you loved Alistair as much as you love Cullen, to load him as a romanced Grey warden in the Keep for your playthrough. Biggest feels of the entire game for me was meeting up with him and asking him about my warden.

Anyway, missed you all terribly.  Now going to work on my massive fan fic since I have the details down.  Will post the link when I get the first few chapters together!

Yeah, it must be a bit surreal. Some people kick off when they discover a voice actor for a game isn't a gamer or can't remember a quote/character from the game that they voiced... I mean seriously? Acting is their job, chances are they'll take anything that comes up if they need the money, they work so much that 9 times out of 10 they won't remember what voice they used, or any of the things they said during the recording process.

It's kinda like when people quote back something I've said in a video and I literally have no recollection of saying it, other than it sounds like the sort of thing I'd probably say LOL.

I've been shipping Surana/Cullen since DA:O, to the point where I've done not one but two Surana DA:O playthroughs without romancing anyone.  And for me that's saying a lot, lol.  (Of course there's the other 10 or so playthroughs with romances to make up for it, just not Surana ones.)

Yeah, that wouldn't happen lol. Even if he wasn't over Amell/Surana whilst with the Inquisitor (which he clearly is over it if romanced) then I still don't think he'd be the type to act on it, he's got too many morals and ridiculously strong willpower. Plus, if he came onto my Amell she'd kick seven shades of sh*t out of him, then let Alistair mop the floor with him, then inform the Inquisitor who would probably murder knife him and then shag IB on his desk, LOL!

Yeah, not in the personality of either my Surana or Amell (even the one who's Alistair's mistress only went that route because Anora agreed to it and a political marriage in advance). And pretty much the reaction they'd have (though I'm pretty sure he wouldn't survive Lel's reaction if he hit on Amell). At the same time, I just don't see him being the cheating type without there being some other influence (lyrium addling, etc.), and probably not even then. This is the man who survived being tortured at Kinloch, after all.

Some of my characters can be a bit wild, but only if everyone's aboveboard and in agreement on it. :P

Bugger that! That was my canon until I discovered the horrible choice I had to make in the Abyss quest... I cried. Hard. Soooo, now he's King and I'm sulking.

That some mad willpower! Alistair drags me in every single time. I had to roll a dude to romance the others, just to ensure that I wouldn't end up romancing Alistair for the millionth time, LOL!

Haha!  Yeah, my problem is I sell at convention so I have way to much time to stare at the people and psych myself out. ^.^

Patrick Stewart would probably have the same effect on me. :)

If I met Patrick Stewart, my first reaction would be to shake his hand and thank him for speaking out on domestic violence, among other things. I have huge admiration for the man apart from the roles he's played. :D

I never managed a non-Alistair playthrough, and I've never managed to recruit Loghain. My completionist partner was practically frothing at the mouth that I wouldn't lose Alistair even once 'for science'

I did manage the other romances by loading alternate save files, and basically exhausting all the dialogue very quickly though

Not only torture, he also didn't act on his impulses even if the female Mage Warden heavily tries to seduce him, AND he managed to stay off lyrium for months even when everything around him is going to hell after the breach opened up. That's crazy willpower, he's managed to withstand things that many couldn't. So cheating? Yeah, not gonna happen!

That is the worst!

I'm the type that will play along with whatever someone is saying when it comes to quoting or reciting something I don't necessarily remember saying/doing.

Smile and nod approach. Smile and nod....well up to a certain point and only if in character with something I might do/say.

In his defence, he is rather busy trying to run a kingdom that's been run over by demons, and he doesn't know the Inquisitor from Adam  I just decided the 'I have a lot on my mind look' he had was in part due to 'I'm worried sick, my wife is AwOL and you're squatting in my uncle's house. Delightful' I just think that as King he wouldn't really be able to talk freely about it anyway :)

I can never not romance Zevran, but I have a lot of feels for Alistair.  I recruited Loghain once while making him king, and him not speaking to me and being so angry.... I could never do it again.

If it's online I'll check the video in question to jog my memory, if it's in real life I'm like "I said that?! ... That's certainly sounds like something I'd say!" Fortunately it doesn't happen often in real life cos I'm smallfry, usually only at gaming conventions.

Not in a million years. After all the chasing the Inquisitor has to do? He's a tough nut to crack, that commander, all duty and no play has made him a very closed in boy until the Inquisitor shows up. I don't think it matters what he felt for Amell/Surana, there's a lot of water under both those bridges and the person he was, let alone the person he became, wouldn't be that way.

There is a codex thingy about how the King seems worried and distracted from his duties, and that people suspect that is due to his wife going missing... obviously Alistair knows where she is, but the public don't know that, lol. Still, even knowing where she is he's still gonna worry. He was worried as a Warden Alistair, so I can only assume the same rule applies if he's King too.

Yeah, that was quite the shocker when I found out about it. Not a choice I could make. Ever. Noping right out....*shakes head vigorously*
