Alistair is king in my headcanon playthrough, so I have no problem leaving Stroud.

He was king in my original headcanon, but I actually like the idea of him being a Grey Warden now.

Yeah, I liked him as a grey warden in DA:I also, it's fun to play, but I can't change ALL THE THINGS in my head and I've written noooow.  Plus, I could never leave Fenris without his Hawke... too heartbreaking.

Not necessarily serious editing. I didn't have any issues understanding it and it was pretty awesome

 

 I'm just really nit-picky when it comes to writing. That's why I rarely offer to beta for other writers.

 

I drive myself crazy enough editing my own stories.

I will  reread and edit a chapter at least eight times before posting it...and then I will find more mistakes. Ugh, OCD why do you torment me so.

See I had the luxury of being a maniac in the DA Keep for DA2. Half of the options I was just like "Something bad happened"..."Not really sure what."..."Screw it, let's go with the more dramatic sounding outcome!"

 

Again, anything for Alistair, anything.

 

Up until it came between Alistair or Cullen. That is when my brain would malfunction.

You know on my third play through I’ve come to realize that the feeling of two disappointments ARE still present.

This is during: Into the Abyss.

 

I was surprised that during your walk through the Fade, the Fear Demon made no mention of whomever you are romancing. Loosing memories sucks, sure, but losing someone you care about deeply seems like that would be far more terrifying.

 

Fear Demon:

 

(If you are a mage) “Reclaim the memories you have lost, I know what it is you truly fear, Inquisitor. Cullen will look upon you and see nothing but the same monster that broke him. Cullen will abandon you, just as he abandoned his Templars.”

 

(If you’re not a mage) “Reclaim the memories you have lost, I know what it is you truly fear, Inquisitor. Cullen will forsake you and look upon you as the fraud you truly are. Cullen will abandon you just as he abandoned his Templars.”

 

Or something to that effect.

 

The last thing that bothers me is after the Abyss not having a conversation with Cullen as to what happened in the Fade, getting his insight on as to what you went through, how he feels etc. I still am rather curious as to what he thinks about you walking through The Fade and reclaiming memories. Seems to me that is a rather important part for it not to be talked too with Cullen, of course only if you’re in a romance with him would this happen.

 

But meh, (shrugs) just some thoughts.

I will admit, I got a vaklempt moment when he said, "Maker's Breathe I miss that woman."  it almost made me want to play another playthrough of DA:O and romance him... almost.  It also made me desperately want Zevran to show up and hear him say something romantic-y like the others....

Same here...but when I got to that part in my first playthrough, I put two and two together, then looked it up, and sure enough, if it hadn't been Stroud, then it would have indeed been Alistair, and I just  .  Well, I am very glad I made Alistair king, and I will forever keep him king, even though he looks adorable in that warden's get-up.  But, that being said, I like Stroud...and I hope that there is something in dlc that keeps him alive and lets us bring him back.

I will admit, I got a vaklempt moment when he said, "Maker's Breathe I miss that woman."  it almost made me want to play another playthrough of DA:O and romance him... almost.  It also made me desperately want Zevran to show up and hear him say something romantic-y like the others....

I love how you can shut her right down when she's making all those nasty comments about aliens (Garrus in particular). She looks like someone just kicked a puppy.
