So apparently I´m not getting Dorian´s quest, I never had this problem when I sided with the mages but yeah, did I run into the infamous personal quest bug?
Possibly? I sided with the templars once and still got his personal quest pretty quickly. The second time I didn't, in fact I still haven't gotten it on that toon....
That would be nice... I kinda go on autopilot when I do that part... It's not so bad when you black out and several hours later you come back to and everything is done.

Don't get me wrong I loved DAO, but replaying it after so many time just leaves me really not caring for the combat/tactical side of things.

Aww I don't hate her character and I know a lot of fans like her ^^ I don't want to bash her; I hate it when people bash my favorite characters. I was just appreciative of the fact that the game let me do that. Although there is definitely some scripted heterosexuality in ME... for example, when talking to Liara, she starts to think I am interested in her, and says, what about Chief Williams? I thought you two were interested in each other, and I was like, WHAT??? I've never even spoken to her!!!! lol

Hell I need a story mode for DAI! I would replay it in a heartbeat.
I modded my DA2 on xbox so that it was basically story mode. Probably why I've played the game about 20 times now.

Remember Liara doesn't understand humans. She might think shut downs to be some odd human ritual of flirting/showing affection.

I love Liara but she was a little too clingy for me to romance... Even not romancing her, over the 3 games it kept feeling like she was one bad decision away from telling my Shepard she wanted to have her babies.
I will, however, forever long for Tali.

Ash just completely rubbed me the wrong way, no matter what type of Shep I was trying to play. At least with Kaidan you can push him in either direction (regarding aliens).

Same here...but when I got to that part in my first playthrough, I put two and two together, then looked it up, and sure enough, if it hadn't been Stroud, then it would have indeed been Alistair, and I just
. Well, I am very glad I made Alistair king, and I will forever keep him king, even though he looks adorable in that warden's get-up.
But, that being said, I like Stroud...and I hope that there is something in dlc that keeps him alive and lets us bring him back.
Yeah, I left Stroud on my first, King Alistair PT, too. Something I found interesting was that I would expect that to be the dominant choice... but the reactions of everyone around Skyhold afterward really seemed incommensurate with how much they knew/cared about Stroud. I mean... he's just some dude as far as most of them are concerned, and the whole castle is in mourning. All I could think is that they coded one reaction for whoever died, and of course, everyone would be broken up over the Champion of Kirkwall or Alistair, hero of the Fifth Blight. But for Stroud... I dunno, just seemed a little extreme. Maybe that sounds insensitive...?

I never gave her any indication of being interested and she was like "but I feel there's something between us..." My Shep is like "Um whhaaaa? Nah I'm saving myself for that damn-sexy bird-man-thing in the cargo bay!"

It's buggy. I can only seem to able to trigger it when siding with the templars. I actually dropped one of my pt and just left it there. I'll go back to it when they fix it.
