Waaaaait. This is only banter I haven't got with Cullen yet, and this one got me curious. Does that mean he has more than two siblings? Mia, the younger brother he practiced chess with, and... another sister? Just how many kids does this family have??? We must know!

I am such a newb when it comes to painting people and I am having the toughest time figuring out how to draw light hitting his face and his fur thing because I have no references to go off of with the right lighting and angles. I was reading an Arlathan codex entry on the wiki last night, and since the elves lived forever, they looooved taking forever to do thibgs. Introductions could take years, so I'm assuming chess would take decades. It seems like their kind of passtime...

I don't know why, but I am leaning more towards Solas. She looks like she can take his s***.

Yup, if you ask him about his family during the chess scene he says he has "two sisters and a brother". If I recall correctly, Brianne says his brother is closer in age to him and Mia is the oldest, so the other sister is probably the youngest in the family since I think Cullen's supposed to be second oldest. He's a middle child

So I know we're on about how a fem dalish elf knows how to play chess, but as soon as the scene started, i had to ask myself how the heck she knew that orlesian ballroom dance with florianne. THAT threw me more than chess. Talk about your rich and upscale passtimes...

 

FYI male Lavellan can also play chess and dance with the duchess

She might be able to but I may end up going into a "ARE YOU KIDDING ME!" state. My last characters on the PS3 were the ones who were sweet/kind. This one and then the one for Cullen may be a bit more cold. Seriously though the differences in the graphics are like night and day, it is so amazing! I've yet to see what Cullen looks like though...I may take a screenie.

Can you flirt with anyone other than Solas if you want to be in a romance with him? I think my game may had bugged out the last time one of my IQs were in a romance with him because I never got the flirt option in the Fade....which then locked me out of him being a romance option.

I think he's closest to Mia. I always imagine Cullen is the third or fourth child since it seems common that first is usually head of family and second is the spare, rest usually go to chantry. Or is that only apply for nobles?

His writer says she always wrote him as the second oldest, Mia being the oldest. There's 4 of them, so he's one of the middle children.

So my dear Cullenites, I'm sure this question has been asked multiple times on this thread, so please feel free to point me to those pages, but what is your Cullen up to post game? I have a crazy fic in my head that

my dalish quizzy, as in love with Cullen as she is, goes off to find Solas. When she does, he leads her through an eluvian and passes her the spirit of Urthemiel which he took from flemeth. This totally changes all her motivations, and in the meantime, a new spymaster takes over for lelianna and a little cat and mouse game ensues with Cullen, who of course is worried about quizzy but it forbiddenly drawn to new spymaster who suspiciously looks like me :-) Somehow I'm bringing in the tidbit that Skyhold, since it's an elvish sacred site, was where the veil was created so only there can it be unmade (mordor?), which is solas' backup plan to free the old gods after the orb broke. Mayhem ensues at skyhold and hopefully cullen comes out okay, because he gave his lucky charm to quizzy on the dock. Silly man...

I had a fairly decent split between songs with lyrics – such as “Grey” by Dave Gunning, “Curse Me Good” by The Heavy, and “Falling Slowly” from Once – and instrumentals, such as Chris Tilton’s “Olivia” from the Fringe Season 3 soundtrack, Danny Elfman’s “In the Tub” from Big Fish, and Sam Hulick’s “We Fought as a United Galaxy” from Mass Effect 3. Sometimes I throw the playlist on and let it go. Other times, I need to listen to the same two or three songs on loop while working on a particular scene.
