Did someone say Carver? ![]()

So, uh, not to interrupt and derail but I am finally successful with a male PC!
....and I think I accidentally made a PC resembling Lee Pace
I think our quizzies also help him along with the flirting a bit seeing that as soon as you get to Skyhold, the two big flirts sound just as nervous as he does...
Then again, I don't think I'd be able to form a complete sentence in his presence either...
Well that's my point, he does understand every single of the flirts, just too nervous to actually do the flirt himself ![]()
The only time he sounds so confidence with himself during "not at work" moment is that Chess scene.
Sometimes it seems like not much thought has been put into the world-building, but ah well.
Nah, I think they prefer to just leave certain things open-ended when it comes to some of the details, so they can work the good idea they have into the lore, rather than have to go back and retcon a whole bunch of things.
After all, Bioware has learned by now that we fans are very, very finicky when it comes to these things.
First step, grow chest hair. The ladies love 'em!

So he's named Lee? ![]()

He is such an adorable little twerp. I wish he'd had a cameo in DAI.

Yes, yes he is ![]()
Thought I'd share since, well I thought it was both awesome and funny.

He's my favourite character from DA2 actually. Looking him grow up from Act 1 Brat to Act 3 Much-More-Classy-Badass is not bad.
If he's Grey Warden & on friendship path, he found his "way". If he's at the Templar, at the end there's 2 awesome templar guys defending Hawke.

Omfg I just looked at the way she drew Carver and there's literally one single huge curly chest hair sprouting from his chest, LMFAO.
That's brilliant. No wonder he looks so proud of himself.
Yeah, DG even clarified that at some point. They can, but few do. Same with dwarves.I think you can technically, but it depends on where the Order is tho. You have to think about population, who's the knight-commander, etc etc.
Elves can join the Order even though we hardly if never see them in game.
Man, I gotta say...playing a male quizzie romancing Cassandra is so fun! This is the most fun I have ever had playing a male character! The way he laughs at her and how annoyed she gets!! I love it! It is like the romance I always wanted in a game (but with me as the staunch, hard-to-win-over female and the romanceable NPC as the snarky, impossible-to-resist boy who just won't stop). So good! Highly recommend!!!
Well, there's that poor templar Keran & his sister Macha in DA2. They're surely from poor family.
I wonder what a templar's salary is.... Weird thing to think about, but they get paid even though it's a religious organization??

Same! I have the biggest soft spot for him. And I always had him on a friendship path as a templar and I melt at the little pep-talk they give each other at the end and how he steps up to protect his sister. I am just going to go hug a pillow now and grin wistfully at the wall.

I saw a yt video of her romance arc and her reactions are gold! XD

I always saw Templars as a kind of mage-cop. So depending on the mage that hires them? I don't think they make much anyways. It's more like a lifestyle/calling than a career.
Here's Cullen being the good ol' cop to my Trevelyan. LOL I've never watched the Bodyguard...maybe I should for some inspiration.
Also...is it even possible to NOT flirt with Cullen? I am trying to play a quick playthrough to romance Blackwall for some angst...but Cullen keeps giving me puppy-dog looks and I can't help but flirt with him! GAH! Its DAO all over again with Alistair!!!

I think they would get some salary but I doubt it would be anything to write home about.

Yup, Friendship!Carver/Templar is really wonderful indeed ![]()
It's like Nightmare Difficulty to bring him to this path so... it's really really rewarding at the end.
Especially having both Carver & Cullen came to stand beside Hawke... ahh... the 2 most important men ![]()

I really just wanted to get to hear is non-romance dialogue...but...i...just...can't! I hit the heart every time! Something is wrong with me!!
I like this background better too. Maybe because I've done the nobility thing before with Alistair and Sebastian and it's nice to change the dynamic a bit? But I imagine Cullen's family being very humble farmers, simple and honest people from tiny backwater Honnleath. Cullen becoming a Knight-Templar would have been a high accomplishment for the family, something they'd be very proud of in their small community back home.
I imagine they're still very humble people nowadays. Even with Cullen being the Inquisition's high Commander, the all-famous Inquisitor's own consort in playthroughs where he's romanced, his mama would still pester him to eat his beans and wear a coat outside when he visited, and 'da would still tell him to take those fancy robes off and help his brother weed out the crops.
Yeah, I wrote story about this notion for our Cullen origin challenge once upon a time. I liked the idea that his family was so proud of him and his accomplishments that he was too ashamed to tell them what happened at the Circle and thereafter. So they've thought he was dead that whole time, and the longer he waited, the harder it was to get back in contact. Until he was forced to. Dun dun dun. Andraste's Grace.
i think they'd get some sort of.. allowance or something like that? like wardens do? nothing to write home about, but enough to support themselves and a family, since we've seen married templars and such.

I hope you are not still planning on romancing Blackwall if you are always flirting with Cullen. You cant hurt our baby like that!

LOL...you know the deal by now. The man is irresistible.
Accept your fate. ![]()
