So with this latest spoiler revelation

I wonder if this is some indication of what will be in a post-game expansion? I mean, with the whole Well thing and Solas being an ex-companion/ex-LI it would make sense for the Inquisitor to be involved in finding him/whatever, rather than any future protagonist.

 

Perhaps that's why Corypheus came across as a one dimensional villain on purpose because Solas may end up being the "sort of villain" with all the shades of grey (if not more so) as Loghain? He seems to have good intentions but he may end up causing even more problems/danger to Thedas unintentionally or for the "greater good", what with that spoiler found in the games files and the hints he gives the Inquisitor if you're friendly with him about following his own path and doing whatever it takes no matter the cost suggests that this could actually get our Inquisitor killed if he/she stands in his way since (as the file says) he's kill anyone in his way to accomplish his goal.

a 'Wolf Hunt' DLC, it's a big Citadel sized DLC or a full blown expansion, and preferably not DA4, lest the emotional potential, (particularly from the Solasmancers) be wasted. Think I would prefer Wolf Hunt to be the last DAI thing they release too, unless they've got more up their donkey sleeves, (watched Shrek earlier).

Then again, give us loads of Citadel style, companion and advisor content in the DLC and I'll be happy.

I thought that was a misunderstanding? That the endings weren't really changed? Or, at least, not changed as much as people thought. Basically, what happened in the leak still happened in the game? It's been a while since I've bothered with anything Mass Effect.

This is Flemeth from the previous two games. In this game, Flemeth's story comes to a head-- she knew that Solas would summon her, and that he would need to steal her power to further his plans. She knew that because they are both elven gods... yet Solas has slept for a thousand years and his power dwindled, while she was killed long ago and a spark escaped from her into the body she now holds. She has nurtured that spark, and knew that Solas would need it. He was once her oldest friend, but she knows that in his drive to restore the elven people he will kill anyone-- even her. She intends to let him have the power, so long as she can pass the essence of her god-hood onto Morrigan, a gift Flemeth had always planned for her daughter yet one Morrigan misunderstood as hostile possession.

 

OMG...now the wait for DLC has gotten even harder, assuming we'll get answers in DLC of course, which I'm guessing we will because they can't really leave all of this unanswered til the next game. You can only keep fans happy with theorycrafting and such for so long. The fates of certain characters like Morrigan they could leave until the next game and maybe the potential aftermath of Solas' plan could be set up during DLC and become the main focus of DA4 but the immediate fallout of that ending and tracking down Solas, I'd argue that needs to happen sooner rather than later. 

 

I'm just hoping now that the well of sorrows choice doesn't have disastrous consequences for the quizzies who drank from it. I'd hate the idea of any of my quizzies becoming a thrall of one of the elven gods, particularly any of my dalish quizzies. It's the main reason why I haven't been able to make any of my quizzies drink from it yet. The second the word 'geis' was mentioned I couldn't nope any harder out of that choice because it had bad idea written in great big flashing neon letters to me.

I agree with Eluvianus. If they change it, it won't be because it was data-mined or leaked.

 

I went back and skimmed the leaked version of ME3's ending and it seems basically the same to me. Maybe more dialogue with the Catalyst, but ultimately it's the same. If we're talking the whole Dark Energy plot, I believe that was something Drew Karpyshyn said was going to be the original ending, but it's not what was in the leak.

Yup, Flemeth is still my favorite DA character and possibly one of my top video game characters, possibly surpassing Kreia in my book.

lol Thanks guys... *twiddles thumbs* I guess I was being melodramatic. Holidays make me emotional in a bad way. If I recollect correctly, this is my fourth Cullen dream. None have been naughty Well I think there was kissing and feeling up in my Anders x Cullen dream lol But that one was so long ago. Me bringing Iron Bull to the Cullen thread class reunion still tops the list as most WTF dream moment though
 
EDIT: And surprisingly I was "myself" in 2/4 of those dreams: the reunion and Warden dreams. I was Cullen in the Cullen x Anders dream and I was an elven inquisitor in the dream from two nights ago xD
 
Oh I can't forget my non-Cullen-related DAI dream where me and other players were wandering around a virtual world trying to find the CC....

What about that one where you were at a ball and everyone was Cullen or something? Or was the whole thread there? I can't remember now, except that it sounded like fun. LOL

The thing that puzzles me is: her godhood and power are two different things? So she can give the spark of Mythal's soul to Morrigan, but her power to Solas? If so, wouldn't that suggest that her power doesn't derive from her godhood...?

It would have to be a full-blown expansion to deal with all this, and if so, they would have started it well before Inquisition even went gold. It's too late to make any major storyline changes, unless they just decide not to release an expansion at all. Which, you know, MAKER FORBID!

With Mythal inside her and all that knowledge she's probably been finding ways to increase her powers for Ages, lol. Kinda like Morrigan has been by seeking out knowledge and Eluvians, and now the Well (if you let her drink from it).
