It is Christmas Day and I am dreading it. It'll be full of noise and people and awkward conversations about stuff that doesn't interest me and ugh.
But at least the food will be good.
Talk about the stuff that does interest you then. If you have the consideration to listen to others talk about things you don'y care much for then they should return in kind.

That felt like my Christmas this year (it's almost 10pm Christmas Day) and it's NEVER like that... bit of drama this year unfortunately... should of known, my birthday was a week ago & normally something always goes wrong, it was prefect this year LOL Ahhh wells everyone's health that counts right?

I usually feel like that too. Don't know why this year is different. Just give yourself as a nice a day as you can, that's all you can do.
@Boom - only 11am here, so I won't be pished (as they call it here!) for another few hours. So you need to drink all the drinks for me between now and then... Edit: argh, I can only have one glass of wine, so you have to drink all the drinks anyway!
@SpiritMuse - Boom's right, talk about stuff you are interested in. They can either join in or STFU! My mum, for example, knows nothing about my games, but she will valiantly try and talk about Dragon Age or Assassin's Creed if I bring them up.

I don't think I can handle anymore, lol. I have 1/4 of a bottle of beer sitting in front of me and the thought of finishing it seems to be rather daunting. It probably doesn't help that I am a total light weight!

Well it didn't work with my cousin but she's younger so I've been trying to corrupt her haha Unfortunately, she still doesn't get it... even with the Cullen butt shots!! I will keep trying though! She's too much like me at that age lol

I got a Rare Great Axe. That is worst than my other Great Axe. I've heard some people have gotten some sweet things though.

If there are small children, you can always play with them which usually keeps obnoxious relatives at bay (or is so loud you can't hear them). I learned I liked low-key, small holidays with movies and cookies with the kids.
We celebrated on XMas eve this year. My DIL gave me the best present ever, she made my daughter blush in front of me all the way to her ears...
