Tattoos on the head? Why would you do that?

Because tattoos are sexy? Give me a guy with full sleeves and he would never be allowed to leave the bedroom...  B)

I used to dye my hair every four weeks or so with black boxed dye...til my hair started to thin! I obsessed over it to the point of driving everybody around me insane - wanted to crawl in a hole and never come out!

Then I discovered the wonderful world of henna/indigo and my hair is back in force!  :D

Oh, is henna good? How do you use it? I am naturally blond but I always dye my hair dark ever since I was old enough to start (I hated being the only one in my family with light hair) but I have never had bad hair from it, thankfully.

People like what they like?  :)

Because he/they wanted to. Different strokes, different folks... and before you go any further I highly suggest not judging or making any insulting comments.

But on the head? Really? Anywhere else, it's art.

Edit: Got rid of some stuff you could consider insulting.

I try not to. I want tattoos, I'd just never get any on my head.

*snip*

Henna is a pain to use - it takes a long time (from 3hrs to overnight) and it's uber messy (literally mud on your head) - but it works wonderfully for me and lasts about 2 - 3 months before I have to dye again. It's super healthy and actually helps to condition hair. Since I've switched to it, my hair is super duper thick, even with me growing it out (it's now almost to my lower back). This is the stuff I use:

http://smile.amazon....na maiden black

Henna itself is red...you get darker colors by mixing in varying proportions of indigo. That's why I use the pre-mixed stuff listed above - I want to make sure I get the proportions correct for black. It took a few tries, but now I have raven-wing black hair (my natural color is a dark reddish brown).

Just keep in mind that henna is permanent - there is no way to wash it out. Once you do it, the only way to get rid of it is to cut it or grow it out. It is unable to lighten hair - you can only go darker with it. You also can't use bleach or developer-based dyes over it.

Thanks for the info. I am not sure about the not being able to bleach it out thing though, lol.

I have four though one of them is half finished. I really should go and get it completed but I am being a bit of a baby about it. It curves to the shape of my boob and goes down my ribs a little. Anyway, it is a sensitive place to get tattooed!

It's a triquetra celtic knot on the inside of my left wrist. Part of the design extents almost onto the base of my hand.

When I went to get my first tattoo the artist was like "that's gonna be rough," in regards to the part that almost goes onto the heel of my hand. It wasn't SO SO bad...but I figured if he said something then it must be a bad place to pick for your first one!

I've always enjoyed the artwork in tattoos, but am personally too afraid to get one. Pretty sure a tattoo for me would amount to a dot before I launched out of the chair. I would have a tattooed freckle.

Half-sleeve covering the bicep are more my speed on a guy. I really love the designs that wrap around on the shoulder too,  B)

That sounds pretty cool. I'm quite scared of getting a tattoo on my wrist because I can always see the veins and, well, I don't want to die.

Ah mah gahd! You are amazing for making this! Thank you so much!

Yeah, I am on Xbox so the graphics aren't as great as on a PC but it looks amazing!

No problem at all, happy I could help ^ u ^ And your graphics were actually great haha, I just meant that I adjusted the lighting somewhat from what was presented to us in-game so Cullen's wiggling booty would be more accentuated. Um.

As for the question about when Cullen started styling his hair - I like to imagine that he started doing it after leaving the Templars. I assume Templars aren't really expected to indulge in self-decoration since they're meant to be living a life without material possessions. In a sense their warrior bodies are kind of a material possession as well, one that figuratively belonged to the Chantry (or not so figuratively when it comes to their "lyrium leash", I suppose). Templars were probably given their assigned armor and basic life necessities and not much else. Immediately after leaving the Templars Cullen dons his fancy robes and starts styling his hair. Seeing as he's trying to distance himself from the restricted life that brought him so much pain, I imagine this change could have been a part of that.

I also like to imagine that Varric, with the support of the other advisors, had a hand in gently coercing him into taking care of his appearance as a part of the plan to relegate him to the position of Official Inquisition Fanservice. But that's just me. How early does Varric start using nicknames for people when he first meets them? Varric's been around a while and was probably around when Cassandra recruited Cullen. He also enjoys giving Cullen sagelike advice, so if he started calling him 'Curly' early on it probably annoyed Cullen to the point where he did something about it. As surreptitiously as he could, which is why he tries to deny it when asked. LOL. Precious cub. sigh.

Wrapping around the shoulder is nice too! Pretty much anything upper-body on a guy just does it for me, lol.  :P

I'm planning on getting a giant back piece done in January. Or sometime around then. My concept is go big or go home. Purely so I can get as much detail in as possible. It will be my first one.  :D

So for those of you who did sided with the templars, can you still talk Calpernia down if you kill the magister?

Hmm just starting the mage side, and it shocks me that anyone has this opinion. To the point where I wonder if I missed a quest on the templar side.
