Hmm just starting the mage side, and it shocks me that anyone has this opinion. To the point where I wonder if I missed a quest on the templar side.
Well, pro-templar has Ser Barris, but that aside the templars come across as more sympathetic than the mages this time around lol.

Haha I don´t know, I liked champions of the just better than in hushed whispers and under her skin more than before the dawn,that said my canon is still going to be mages, but I´m surprised I liked the templar side as much as I did

Yeah, I agree. The only reason (ONLY REASON) I go for the mages is for the Samson stuff. I really would love to throw dirt in Fiona's face.. 
This time around my dual-dagger fireball recruited the Templars...it seems to work for her so far. Sucks she won't get Cullen's extra stuff, but she doesn't know that!

So has anyone here seen animation "Epic"? It suddenly occurs to me this morning that Cullen and female quizzie are kinda like Ronin and the queen in there. Hopefully ends better that is...

Doesn't the queen die in the movie? And Ronin loves her but knows he could never be with her? I don't see the parallel...

However, I think Ronin and the Queen were unrequited, whereas my Inquisitor requited the heck out of Cullen.

I wouldn't say unrequited though, I think they both love each other but she's the queen and he's her protector, so he think it is not possible. I just find that really...Cullen*facepalm
I could have seen them going that way with Cullen (and honestly, I was hoping they would at least address it). "You're the Inquisitor and my superior, so I can't be with you." But I don't think they did, since he seemed fine with it. And, I got to shag him, after all. I think the tragedy with Ronin was that he wouldn't let himself actually be happy with her. So to me that's more dao!Cullen or da2!Cullen, who are all about duty and sacrifice. dai!Cullen seems to finally embrace the happy.

I really preferred the templar quest over the mage quest, the mage quest actually bored me a little. But considering that you get the whole Samson questline if you side with mages, that's what I'll be doing in my Cullen playthroughs.
For some reason I didn't get the quest where Cullen comes along with you in my last mage-siding playthrough, so I'm definitely planning on mage+Samson for the next one.
So, I figured I'd play the latest game in the Dreamfall series to give myself a little break from Dragon Age... guess who one of the main playable characters is voiced by? Male Hawke, I lol'd! I then looked up the games logo so that I could use it for my thumbnails as I'm planning to do a let's play of the game, guess what popped up in the search amongst a sea of Dreamfall images? The DAI logo!
Seems I couldn't escape this bloody franchise if I wanted to!

I must say that the Templar route had much, much better characters (excluding Dorian's part in the mage quest), particularly Ser Barris and Cole's intro. I also liked the whole Envy demon concept.Ok,thanks!

Uhhhh, negative? Cullen got along extremely well with my Gale Trevelyan the entire game, Haven included.There is debate about that as well, but I'll stop from going off topic.
