Also, if Varric betrays us I'm flipping ALL THE THINGS.Solas and Possibly!Cole, meh, they can betray us if they want, lol. But if they do I just REALLY hope it's not like Anders were they make it utterly obvious and there isn't a damned thing we could do about it, not even to mitigate. That bothered me a lot.

I haven't read Asunder...so I have no idea about Cole.
But to me the pic at the very end of the trailer has struck me from the very beginning last superish. Most of the stuff in this game is religion based, and I think there may be some foreshadowing there somehow.
So this leads me to think...if we basically have our Judas...what other roles do you think the others will play?
Ugh, horrible thought...if our Inquisitor is basically, in theory Jesus...does that mean we'll have to sacrifice ourselves? I'm flashing back to DAO all over again lol. Or will it just be we make a lot of sacrifices in the name of the Maker...wow this game may have a lot of Thedas Religion under tones, and I'm really alright with that. Could make it really interesting.

I'm almost positive that the Inquisitor dying is at the very least not a foregone conclusion if not impossible, because of what the devs have said about being able to continue exploring after the main questline. That would be pretty tough if you were dead.

My poor Inquisitor! I'm afraid she's too much of a sensitive, gentle soul for all this! 
But I'm attached to her now, so she's going to have to deal with it.
Maybe our Inquisitor is like Cole? We don't REALLY know what Cole is, right? And maybe Cole decides to follow the Inquisitor because he senses they're 'alike' in some way?

I just watched lady insanity's trailer breakdown and she said in that one scene were a person is walking up to the giant/cyclops that it looked like a peaceful encounter. This my be just speculation but would that mean we can become allies with the giant/Cyclopes.
That would be awesome and essentially it means we would be allies with the forest
