Speaking of his helmet...I never saw it once in my game, even with helmets on. Did they scrap it? it was pretty amazing...

They cut the lion helmet? That's sad
That was an amazing helmet.
Ooooh I've just made another batch of Shortbread... and can't help thinking whether Cullen like it sweet or not very sweet...
Not so sweet, I think. And I can also picture him being the kind of guy who just eats one shortbread and then is happy with it. He doesn't strike me as having much of a sweet tooth, and they probably didn't have cakes/cookies very often in the templar order so he probably never developed much of a craving for it.
Agreed! Saw some shots someone posted of fly cam during the Cullen "desk" scene where you saw it from the other side (ie, in the room rather than through the window). Awesomeness! Some...interesting...hand placement...
Where can I see that pic?
It's good for a laugh though!

except maybe lyrium cookies
Do you know that you had just killed me? That Cullen frontal look... It's like he's looking at ME (not my inquisitor) right through the heart...

Goin' in for da' boob!

tee hee!
So then he did get it when trying on his new armor. Oh silly clumsy Cullen
maybe he got the scar when wearing the helmet and that's why he refuses to put it on again
sad story
I love that sad puppy look on his face during this scene, poor baby.
I love the first-person view shots for reasons like this.
Flycam is fun. Sometimes characters teleport or move around when using it, so, when going for first-person view shots, you can end up with some in-your-face close-ups like this:*snip*
The problem is getting the camera lined up right...it's such a pain! ![]()
I've managed to embarrass myself with how many times I'll replay a scene to get the right shot.
everyone keeps takling about fanfic, and I was wondering (because I am new to this forum) is there like a special area to post that? i wrote a very short conversation where the Inquisitor asks Varric to talk to Cullen for her to find out if he likes her, and he goes and talks to him. Cauz I felt like the romance was developing so slowly, I was thinking in my head of how to get the point across to Cullen, lol, so just kind of wrote down what I was thinking. Anyways, can I post it here, or somewhere else?

his facial expressions are amazing. They make you feel so many things.
You're right, but I'll likely still feel compelled to pick the extra mage options on my first try of the Cullen romance. I'm curious too, and with her being a former Circle mage she might wonder. Do the options feel like she's putting him on the spot, though? She doesn't have anything against templars (in fact, I'm roleplaying her as a pro-Circle mage). I liked how when Cullen commented on how he was surprised that Vivienne didn't dislike him on principle, and my Inquisitor could say that she didn't dislike him on principle, either.
Well said. In fact, I started a human mage to pursue his romance, because she was a former Circle mage and they'd probably have a lot of common. They even have a conversation about the Circle in Haven, and she tells him that she isn't used to being away from the Circle since she spent most of her life there and he felt the same way. I haven't gotten far in the romance, but so far the mage specific dialogue seems rather natural to talk about and non-angsty.
I did human mage as well and for the most part the mage specific options felt rather natural and made sense for why they would be brought up. Especially when the Inquistor is asking about daily life of Templars and mentions how they were always surronded by Templars but they never spoke. The one exception is, at one point you get the option to ask Cullen "If I were possesed by a demon..." I did not pick that option because it seemed like a horrifically awful thing to ask esspecially since it comes up a good bit into the relationship.

Hehe

I always just post them here under spoiler tags cause i am a "get it out and leave it to disappear" type writer.
But there are links on the first page of the thread where you can join up and post for all to enjoy!

Or, he could have like it as a child before going to the Order, and then never get it anymore until Skyhold. I just read a very cute fanfic about this (the Inquisitor gave him a shortbread as Wintersend/Satinalia gift).
There comes my motivation of baking... Ok I always bake, but the choice of shortbread is really because of this ![]()

His response to that was totally worth it. Not the first thing he says...the thing he says after you respond again (don't want to spoil it). It was one of the few times I kinda teared up with Cullen cause it was was...dare i say it...ANGSTY!!! Just one of the many lines that was so heartfelt and delivered perfectly by Mr. Ellis!

Cullen's face is very expressive right? Varric's and Dorian's too. Actually the three of them are ones that have the most expressions IMO... Especially Cullen & Varric... So heartfelt, so diverse... From Cullen laughing, smirking, plain happy, sad, enraged, frustrated, in pain... Gosh, they really make facial expression an art.
Short fics are fine to post in here under spoiler tags (and great fun for quick reading too!) for longer fics it's preferable to host them on another site and post a link to them here to prevent walls of text
Let's say AO3 and FF.Net? I only know those two...

Oh, yeah, I don't even want to think about how long it took me just to get those few shots. ![]()
EDIT: Gah, top of page? Ok, here we go:

Yea, I watched his reponse to it and I was happy I never picked it. He got rather upset about it, and I felt bad for him even though I didn't pick that option ![]()

That's so cute! My inquisitor definitely has a sweet tooth (she leapt at the options with Sera and Josephine to say 'ooh cookies!' and 'ooh cakes!') so I reckon she sneaks into Cullen's office to sneak cookies from his stash.
He won't mind, cos he wuvs her and all (and it makes her lips nice and sweet...)
