I'm almost positive that the Inquisitor dying is at the very least not a foregone conclusion if not impossible, because of what the devs have said about being able to continue exploring after the main questline. That would be pretty tough if you were dead.

You know, if dramatic hands guy IS that mage Mae mentions in the comics, I almost want a dramatic scene where it appears the Inquisitor dies and he brings our arse back. Is it cliche? Possibly. Would it be badarse? Yes. Would it be even more badarse if he was our LI? Definitely yes.

That was my take on it, and one of the reasons I was perfectly fine with the 6:3 split. And if Leliana and Scribbles are as in-your-face as I hope Cullen will be, that evens things up even more. Sometimes, it isn't quantity so much as volume. The women we've met - Leliana, Cassandra, Vivienne - all seem to have really big personalities. There's absolutely nothing wrong with that! But the men we know - Cullen and Varric (to some degree) and most definitely Cole - tend to call less attention to themselves. I have a feeling that the overall "presence" will seem equal.

 

I'm going to get lynched for this, but it's kind of like making tomato sauce. If you put in a teaspoon of cayenne and a teaspoon of salt, you're going to notice the cayenne first. And now I want chili.

Ugh, horrible thought...if our Inquisitor is basically, in theory Jesus...does that mean we'll have to sacrifice ourselves? I'm flashing back to DAO all over again lol. Or will it just be we make a lot of sacrifices in the name of the Maker...wow this game may have a lot of Thedas Religion under tones, and I'm really alright with that. Could make it really interesting.

I think the horrible thought for me is that they would make the plot so similar. The religion of Andraste is very similar to Christianity as is, I don't want more tie ins. Also I know this won't bother some people but making the inquisitor essentially Jesus is just so....well it feels sacrilegious almost. I don't want my character who romps around killing dragons and sleeping with party members to also supposed to represent this worlds version of my messiah lol!
