Aww that's sad. Some of Dorian's comments about Cullen are the best. Interestingly enough I feel like I have gotten a lot more banter recently, both on my original character and my newer one. Idk if they patched a fix or something.
I've wondered the same thing, but I think I may have merely been paying better attention now once I heard there were banter probs. LOL Kind like the messengers. Now that I know they're there, I wait for them.
Ok, here is my first male Inquisitor. about 2 hours in and i realized i had created my fantasy version of Ser Gilmore from DAO (the way i see him in my mind...I was a little obsessed with him for a long time).
So then, I decided to go with a softer, sweeter looking guy whose eyes are like my boyfriends. And here he is. I think he is adorable!!!
You don't get the choose to commit/be in romance with UNTIL the first time you can break it off. It's an either or. I am not sure however if before that first time you can go to someone else or not. But he is pretty heavily into it by the time you get to Skyhold.

I love that Dorian comes across like nothing phases him, but really he's not as self confident as he'd have everyone believe, which gradually becomes more obvious throughout the game (especially when you learn via Cole that he thought the Inquisitor would basically hump him and dump him if romanced).
Oh, nah, this is just a normal Dorian banter with Cole. I was pretty sure that Cole did a second LI read about Dorian, so I'm listening to Dana Duchy's party banter compilations.

I could literally hear Gaider's own experiences in pain through Cole's readings of Dorian.

Yeah your best bet is don't flirt with him at all unless you want to romance him, just to be safe.

Yeah, I got the distinct impression that Dorian was almost an extension of himself and his own thoughts/feelings/influences/experiences.

It's weird, I can pass up every single flirt with other people like it isn't even there, but I have so much trouble ignoring Cullen's flirts. I end up having to mouse over any other line, close my eyes, torture myself for a few minutes and click. Because if I see the flirt I will click it.

Yup! I LOVE the banter between Cole and Vivienne. You get ALOT of insight into her. the one that fires about her harrowing is rather haunting...
Seriously, I think Cole should always be in the party, just for the depth he gives to all the other characters...

During my second playthrough I dragged Dorian and Bull everywhere so that they'd get together but the banter didn't pop enough to ever get to that stage and they'd barely started flirting by the time I finished the game, despite me doing the majority of all the side quests and everything!

Mostly playing in the CC today, and tried for Derzka, my Dalish warrior. I was aiming for mid to late 20s, but I'm not sure I quite got it. I did finally get eye color I liked and the lighter makeup, though her lips were a lot darker in the CC. I'm also not sure why she has something that looks like a red spot in some of the SSs.
And I want to add that I really hate the choice of hairstyles. I'd rather look at a bald head or a buzz cut than a hairstyle I dislike.
So, would people consider Solas to be the plot heavy romance?
