Oh, I hated that orphanage! I have to turn off the ambient sounds to get through it.
It's the little girl singing the creepy lullaby, isn't it? I almost cry every time I go through that quest because of that scary little girl.

Lol, does that make you Galadriel then?
LOL I thought we'd just decided I was Gandalf, of the unkempt hair and beard and tendency to light up around ancient documents. Altho this could also work... ![]()

What gets me is she just buried Haven under tons of snow and she still has no idea she isn't really there.
LOL Then there's that...
Lavellan ... not the sharpest tool in the shed around hot dudes.
"We're alone and you're smiling and walking that sexy saunter... um, wut, where are we??"
A month later... and have finally finished the game (after kicking my brother off my computer once I returned from hobbo-ing around Europe).
Cullen romance = best Christmas gift to self ever. Has also ruined my real life. Went on a date last night (with a non-pixilated man, that is), only to accidently call my date "Cullen" no less than 4 times (his name was actually Colin).
Basically, because no flesh and blood human measures up in my mind, I am now doomed to die a virgin.
Cullen, I hate that I love you
LOL Thanks for sharing this story! That must've been... awkward!
How culleny! ![]()
Done the haunted house, it was a nice mansion! Still not entirely sure what happened with
You got a schematic out of the suicide falls??? All I got was a crappy dagger! ....and poor Vivienne plummeting to her death, of course.
I got decent loot from that that chest?! Well then I stand corrected...all I know is that Cole pushed my IQ off that beam far too many times. In the end Cass was the one to claim the loot because she is a boss, lol!

Gah, what is up with the companions being so nudge-y? Dorian would nudge my girl into the water in the Fallow Mire constantly. Damn lovable jerk!

Yes, and the background noise of screams, etc. I'm really not into horror myself, which didn't help. ![]()

Omg the amount of times I scream at my companions because they run me off those damn wooden platforms with all the ladders. Usually Cole or Blackwall. Hold position never works when I need it too lol.

I don't scream at them but I do start to do the half cry, half laugh thing while I beg for someone to just tell me "whhhhhy?" ![]()

Another feature inspired by Skyrim?
Vilkas and Erik have nudged my Dragonborn right off the blind face of a mountain and straight into her gruesome death so many times that I make them hold still in place whenever we have to go anywhere higher than a slope.

I'm messing around with flycam again, and this (too blurry at full size) shot amused me a little:

Yes, though most of it is closer to chanting. Go to about 7:08 in this clip to hear part of it:

Oh! You were talking about DA:O, I thought we were talking about the DAI haunted mansion, lol.

...why did I watch that? That's exactly the part that creeps the beejeezus out of me.
Every time I replay Origins I forget about this part, and then lose a night's sleep with that "three, four, the kingdom's at war" line keeping me awake. I'm really bad at dealing with horror, lol.

It's that deep roads poem that freaks me out!

I never noticed that before! Or I have a horrible memory. Either way, it reminds me of this:

That song is bad but I find the one sung by Hespith in the Deep Roads to be horrible.
They're both scary.

Oh yeah, that one just made me feel ill.

Now I'm feeling all nostalgic for DA:O. If there's one game I wish I could forget playing it's DA:O so that I could experience it for the first time again.
I loved that nursery rhyme it gave me the creeps.I never noticed that before! Or I have a horrible memory. Either way, it reminds me of this:

I love DAO but I don't know. I think I find it hard going back to playing an unvoiced PC now and that kind of puts me off because I don't want to not enjoy it as much as I used to.

Kids being creepy gives me the creeps, lol.
