It really was. That little song was horrid especially since around the corner a broodmother awaits. As a female Wardern, it was really creepy.
Heck it was just creepy.
Well done but disturbing.
Yeah, I remember a lot of talk on the forums about what it might mean if you're a female Warden. Can you get turned? When you hear the Calling would you just make sure Zevran gave you enough poison to kill you when you get to the Deep Roads so you don't get turned? And I still wonder about that.
There's so much to that game that BioWare got sooooo right! The origin stories letting you get a feel for your character and his/her background, the betrayal and Ostagar, Alistair and the Warden being the only two Warden's left to deal with the Blight, the intimacy of the campsite, the companions, the way the side quests all tied into the main quests so seamlessly, the way the romances felt so well developed, I love that game so much! ... Problem is, I've played it to death. I literally can't get past Lothering before I get bored and stop playing.
I think I started a playthrough around April, just because it had been so long, and I usually do the Circle, Redcliffe, the Urn, Orzammar, and then the Dalish, and I only got halfway through Redcliffe. My Warden might still be loitering around somewhere in the castle basement. But yeah, it's such a good game, and I think once I've exhausted Inquisition I'll have to go back and play Origins and DA2 again.
