That's a good question! Y'know, I was looking for a YT vid of him staying in the Fade and I couldn't find a single one (haven't checked recently though). It seems the majority who had to make that choice let him live.

Yeah...I have no problem playing as a jerk, or even evil...except when it comes to him.  I...can't do it myself.  i just can't. NEVER!  (hiding under the bed with eyes shut, shaking head furiously)

So, I'll have to wait for someone else to do it for me!!

At one stage everything sucked into itself like a black hole that I couldn't reverse, I'd have to quit the game and start again to get the camera angle to return to normal, lol.

I have that problem with the depth of field. If I touch that at all I can't get it to go back to "normal," even when I try to reset flycam. After I touch the DoF, the only way to make stuff play out at vanilla again is to crash out the game and re-open everything.

Did you ever get it where it shoots up into the atmosphere somewhere? When it does that there's no way of getting it back without reloading the scene...

Drives me nuts!  :pinched:

Ugh, yes. Sometimes when I switch to flycam and it's off somewhere (possibly another planet), switching to the DAI Cinematic Tools window and clicking the reset button will fix it.

The spinning was crazy, though. I kept hitting reset and that did nothing, so I restarted the game and the flycam, but it was still spinning when I started everything back up. Even reinstalled the flycam, but it was still spinning. Ended up just having to switch from windowed fullscreen mode to fullscreen and back to windowed fullscreen mode to stop it.

My dearest readers and supporters!

The newest chapter of "Path of the Dreamwalker" has just been posted. This story is a large project I'm working in tribute to the fantastic characters of DA. I recommend finishing the game before reading, however the story doesn't follow the cannon plotline very much so spoilers aren't really an issue.

Here are details for those who haven't read it yet:

Summary: Scarred by war, torn apart by conflict, and tormented by chaos, Thedas is falling into shadow. The land's destiny has been broken, and there is only one who can reshape it and set things back on course. Mortals fight for power while ancient Gods fight to be remembered. Can one broken Templar's wish change the flow of time? (Cullen/F!Inquisitor/Solas)

I do prefer a voiced protagonist and the combat is a bit of a pain in the arse but I love everything else about it, to me DA:O is still far superior than DA2 and DAI... which is a shame because I truly believed that DAI would knock DA:O out of the ballpark.

I was afraid to admit that I still think DAO is the best dragon age game so far. I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thinks this. I liked DAI a lot, but honestly DAO's story is what made me fall in love with the series... it's the only one so far that's made me actually break down and cry. I really just want an amazing story. Bioware could get rid of half the amount of exploration for all I care as long as they came back with a kick ass story. And with the companions... we learned SO MUCH about all of the DAO companions I felt like they were actually my best friends. In DAI the characters have the capacity imo to be even better than the DAO companions but we learned so little about them by comparison! I don't feel like I know that much more about them now than when I was first introduced to them in the game. Everything about DAI's story was great but I wish it would've been expanded on. I want a story I can really sink my teeth into and ponder over for months after I finish the game.

I know he's really cool!  <3 I just imagined it was Cullen trying to appease his fangirls while writing reports! I'm so not complaining! Poor Cullen probably gets a lot of love letters from servants and the like. Just look how popular and dashing he was at the Ball.

Since we have a lot of new people that have found their way to the thread, I thought I'd put it out there that we have a group set up for DAMP since there are quite a few people that don't really want to play with randoms. If you want an invite to the group then PM me and I will send one out.  :)

Just watched the video of Cole leaving the Inquisition, and Cully makes a tiny appearance. In case anyone hasn't seen it:

At first I wanted to tell myself that Cullen was chillin by the threshold because he was eagerly awaiting the FemQuizitor's return, but if you're enough of a douche to make Cole angry then hopefully you're not romancing him lol.

So I came across something interesting tonight and I'm wondering if it's a (happy) glitch? Here's the backstory:

Raven, my dual-dagger fireball wasn't interested in Cullen in the least. She's a bit of a party-girl, so she had been flirting up Bull, along with everybody else. HOWEVER, during Champions of the Just, what Envy showed her really got to her. She didn't know what to make of it, and besides, she thought there was no way he would be into a crazy rogue. Then, after arriving at Skyhold, Cullen pulled out the cutest puppy-dog face and assured her that he would never let the events at Haven happen again. That threw her for a loop. Not knowing what to make of it, she decided to avoid Cullen and leave Skyhold for a while, helping Bull with his personal quest (she chose the "duty" option). Back in Skyhold, she saw how upset Bull was, which lead to a crazy one-night-stand. She IS a party-girl after all, and she wanted to prove it.

At this point, the Bull romance was "locked in." Ok, so this is where it gets confusing to me:

Deciding that she was going to stop avoiding Cullen, she stopped by his office to have a chat. This is where he dropped the "not in Kirkwall" line. Ok, maybe he does like her? Crap, he's definitely getting under her skin. But what about Bull? Later, she has a nice game of chess with Cullen, of course letting him win. All of a sudden being socially awkward (that's never happened to her before), she blurts out "We should spend more time together..." What does he say? "I'd like that..."

So my question is this - I thought starting anybody else's romance would cause Cullen to bring that specific romance up as a block before you could initiate anything with him? I was fully intending to have to break up with Bull to start the Cullen romance. I thought that maybe he would say something after the chess scene flirt. Nope. Kissy scene and "start romance with Cullen" ensues. I then run to Bull and Bull's romance is gone (it was definitely there before I started the kissy scene with Cullen). I never officially broke it off with Bull. She just had the 1st sexy-time scene and that was it (she didn't have the 2nd scene where he explains the rules). So, can you really have a one-night-stand with Bull and have it mean nothing? The scene does say "start a romance." Or was it a (happy) glitch? If so, yay! That's what I was going for! I just need to reload a bit back so I can slow down Cullen's scene progression.

I really don't know. I thought Bulls romance wasn't "locked in" until he lays down the ground rules. But if it is a glitch then just go with it if that was what you were aiming for.  ^_^

I have no clue. During the 1st scene there is the "start romance with Iron Bull" prompt. Then during the "rules" scene, there isn't a "confirm romance" prompt, just a beak-up heart. Unless the assumption is that if you don't pick the broken heart, you are confirming the romance? Either way, I didn't need to get that far. She had one night with Bull and then was immediately able to start the Cullen romance. Not that I intend to play it through like that (heh), I was just curious as to what Cullen would say when his "romance block" lines came up...but they never came up! I guess I'll be happy with how things worked for Bull's one-night-stand and re-load before the "not in Kirkwall" flirt to take Cullen's scenes at a more natural pace. Then the Bull romance will just dissolve on it's own. That fits the story in my head better anyways. She was just letting out pent-up frustration and Bull was upset over what happened on the Storm Coast.

One way or another, Cullen always gets what he wants.

I wouldn't have it any other way!  B)

The only way I can't NOT romance Cullen is if I roll a Qunari...

My Dalish mage started out being for Solas...NOPE. As soon as Cullen threw those puppy-dog eyes at her it was over...

That's ok though. I've seen Solas' scenes on Youtube and I don't really need to play them myself. I have a Qunari for Blackwall and will roll another Qunari for Bull.

Lol, I made a human just so I wouldn't stray back to Solas XD.  I'll admit though, I'm really quite taken by Cullen's romance so far.  There's a lot more content and I like how Cullen appears like a hard-ass on the outside but shows his gentle and affectionate side to the Inquisitor.

I just had all these big aspirations for romancing everyone and it is all kind of going down the toilet. It probably doesn't help that I am writing a Cullen/Trev fic so those two are always in the back of my head whispering at me to pay attention to them.

I'm enjoying the change. Don't get me wrong I love Cullen, but nice to have something a little different... when Solas breaks Llira's heart, I have Cullen to run back to with Trev!

I finally worked out how Nvidia shadowplay works so I can record the cut scenes for my own personal viewing

Watching this made me so sad. Alistair's entire story, even if romanced, is just so depressing.
