Good grief ... can you imagine the uprising and angry new threads started if Cullen made a blatant racist comment?
Now that's it's been stated here, you realize we'll read about it as fact somewhere on tumblr.

I heard somewhere that it's only a span of months, so less than a year, but I don't know if that's been officially established.
If you talk to Josie on the balcony when you get to Skyhold she mentions that you´ve only known each other for a "few months" I think, so a year would make sense ![]()
I sometimes think I might be the only person who doesn't have an actual preference when it comes to what class to romance Cullen with.
I've got several characters lined up, each meant to romance a different LI, and Cullen is the only one I have two characters for.
My Artificer and my Knight-Enchanter are my two favorites, and they both romance Cullen. I love the experience equally for both.

Wow, that seems like not nearly enough time to get everything done that you need to get done.

The only other date I can think of is from the promage quest...
I'm still thinking the whole thing is less than a year, tho. In DA:O, it's a year and Wynne actually calls it a year during the game.
In any event, definitely less than DA2! LOL
Posting this for the weekday crowd:
My dearest readers and supporters!
The newest chapter of "Path of the Dreamwalker" has just been posted. This story is a large project I'm working in tribute to the fantastic characters of DA. I recommend finishing the game before reading, however the story doesn't follow the cannon plotline very much so spoilers aren't really an issue.
Here are details for those who haven't read it yet:
Summary: Scarred by war, torn apart by conflict, and tormented by chaos, Thedas is falling into shadow. The land's destiny has been broken, and there is only one who can reshape it and set things back on course. Mortals fight for power while ancient Gods fight to be remembered. Can one broken Templar's wish change the flow of time? (Cullen/F!Inquisitor/Solas)

Hehe, yea that's why I was all concerned a few posts ago
I was getting ready to be upset. But it's all good now.
Played DA:O again -Mage origin-, did the Harrowing and was just wondering today: In your opinion, if Cullen fell pray to a demon, what kind would try to tempt him?
I'm torn between Desire and Pride demon...Desire because of his amorous frustrations and Pride because of his outstanding work as a Commander (our companions always comment on him being smug).

You know I always found it interesting that they thought he was a little full of himself because he doesn't really act that way to me. I think he's more stubborn than anything.

Spoiler

I reckon it took somewhere between 9 or 10 in-game months from the opening of the breach to finally defeating Corypheus. Seems too fast really.
You know I was wondering what type of person Cullen is in bed.
He seems like he would be tender at first but then starts to get kinky. Also I think he would enjoy The Inquisitor being on top. ![]()

Especially if you included travel time to get to all of the different areas in Orlais/Ferelden!
So what do you guys think is the next step for Cullen in the next DA?

I was thinking about that too. I mean, just getting to the Western Approach on horseback is what, at least a week's time? At least? I can't remember if it says in one of the books.

In future games? I think DAI will be it for him, maybe he'll make a cameo in the next one but beyond that I'd say we've exhausted all our Cullen screentime once all the DLCs and expansions for DAI come out. He says he wants to stay with the Inquisitor and continue serving the Inquisition, so I guess that's what he'll be doing unless/until BioWare decide to do something horrible to him/the Inquisitor/the relationship.

I still want something to happen with him either taking or not taking lyrium... Other than that I think if future games encounter the inquisition it would probably be through one of the advisors or the inquisitor so I'm sure we haven't seen the last of him but I think you're right. His time as a main character is pretty much over.
So what do you guys think is the next step for Cullen in the next DA?
I assume that if the Inquisitor's chooses a romance with Cullen, they'll still be together and possibly married by that point.
As for the lyrium, I suppose that depends on what choice happened to Cullen. Since I told him to "Endure it" he will be free and clear of with drawls.
I would LOVE to have Cullen as a companion either for a DLC and/or in the future. After him tagging along for a quest, I did NOT want him to leave the party. Damn Bioware for teasing me. <sighs> LOL!

True, but in DAO, you were traveling on foot with ox drawn carts, so travel times were probably 3x as long. I think a year sounds short for either game, truthfully, but I tend to stop and smell the flowers a lot ![]()

I'm just thinking it took roughly 6-8 months to travel from east coast to west coast in the US during western expansion so if we assume ferelden and orlais are larger than/the same size as the US at least together, it would probably take half that to get from skyhold to the western approach realistically. But that's just me guessing

Definitely want him as a companion for DLC rather than another DA game bc I don't think I could bear to not romance him
Polite butt in: So, dear Cullenites, my husband and I bought ourselves an Xbox One for Christmas, and that means I am starting Inquisition again. That also means that I am back to being interested in multiplayer (it was a no go on the 360). If there's any Cullenite "guild" or what have ye, would you kindly toss an invite my way via PM or something?
I'm super interested in MP, but only amongst easygoing folks that won't be mad at my lack of experience. The actual MP forum here doesn't seem to be that place.

On that note, I know a lot of you play PC but anyone do PS4? Am I all alone on this? Would be cool to do some MP stuff.

Yeah, with all the traveling that you do in-game...I would imagine that just the date-scene to the lake near Honnleath took at least a week? Trip to Western Approach, gone like a month?
Oh dear, now thinking about it Cullen spends so much time away from his IQ-boo! ![]()

Lol that lake area reminded me of the area outside Flemeth's hut in DAO xD I was like woah Cullen what are we doing HERE???
