Any chance of an Inquisition DLC with shiny dresses for the Ball or other Orlais scenes? Because I'll be honest, about half of the reason I was excited to hear that DAI had a ball in it was because I thought it meant I would get to see my lady Inquisitor kicking ass in a pretty dress.

I know they wanted to get a “pick your outfit for the ball” feature in, but that was cut due to a number of difficulties (none of which I have enough knowledge of to comment on). Whether that will make its way into a DLC or something, I can’t really say — I can’t comment on unannounced projects at all, even as to their existence, so you’ll have to wait and see.

Does anyone know how old Cassandra is? I'm feeling late 30s because of what she says about her saving the Divine 20 years ago... I would've thought she was younger though.

All we know is that as of 9:40/41 Mike Laidlaw says "she's not 40", i.e.  younger than 40. In DotS, she was probably ~18ish.

That's awesome! They did say Inquisition's storyline had been planned out since Origins and that DAI was the game they always wanted to make, so who knows how long they'd been sitting on the foundations of it.

So, despite the "Solas will kill anyone" finality to her discovered character blurb, she must've cheated death again. Somehow. I can't wait to see more!

If I were guessing where the next game will take place this is what I would say. Maybe Tevinter, you could be the character that changes the Imperium, end slavery etc that sort of thing.

If this means I get to be Thedas' version of Daenerys... Yes please.

okay did she actually die in that last scene with Solas? She looked pretty dead to me.... If so I think Solas is going to take over her position of being a random stranger's savior because she knows what their destiny is (ie. warden & hawke) if she's not actually dead then i have no idea what is going to happen. But I really think she is.

we've killed her before. I was thinking she's probably dead, too, given that she seemed to embrace it instead of try to avoid it. But, she easily could have more horcruxes out there, like she did in DA:O & DA2. I think it would be simpler if she were dead so that it gives more weight to her sacrifice with Solas, but it wouldn't be Dragon Age to not include Flemeth, nor to have her die practically off screen like that. So I don't know. If she shows up again, let's just say, I won't be shocked.

An update on my first playthrough: I've sided with the mages their mission depressing  (I won't spoil it for the people who haven't got the game.) and boy I got chewed up by Cullen and Cassandra (the latter I'm trying to romance.) right now for making the mages my allies. I'm going try to beg  Cassandra's forgiveness! Though on a high note, I've got the hang of crafting armor and weapons and Dorian is freaking awesome!

Yeah...so...this is why I can never make him take it.  In romancing him or when I played through as a male quizzie.  Even before i saw this scene, I couldn't do it. The pain of withdrawal is nothing compared to the hold it has over him, the way it makes him feel tied to the life that he wants nothing more to do with.

 

And...personally, I would rather he suffer and be free of it than be in control and bound by it.  But then again, I am also very pro-mage freedom, which has similar drawbacks.  Ie, the price of freedom and all that...
