While I did not want my new IQ to end up with semi blue hair...I say he turned out decently well! So here's Orion Trevelyan-

WOW!  He is super sexy!  Love the nose and eyes on him!  i have the hardest time making hot dudes in this game!!!

Yeah...so...this is why I can never make him take it.  In romancing him or when I played through as a male quizzie.  Even before i saw this scene, I couldn't do it. The pain of withdrawal is nothing compared to the hold it has over him, the way it makes him feel tied to the life that he wants nothing more to do with.

 

And...personally, I would rather he suffer and be free of it than be in control and bound by it.  But then again, I am also very pro-mage freedom, which has similar drawbacks.  Ie, the price of freedom and all that...

I'd have to be playing a really cold, probably evil PC to be able to do it, because the idea of forcing someone back onto an addictive drug when they had gotten that far is just something I could never personally imagine doing, even if it really did threaten their life.

Lol thank you! I was having a moment of hating all my already made characters...I thought they looked too odd. Now I was up at 12 in the morning so I may had been a little tired, but I deleted my one of my other guys and waiting to see how the lighting changes for one of my female characters.

 

THE NOSE IS A SUCCESS?! I have so much trouble with noses I am not even kidding you! The majority of the time I spend in the CC is on the noses for my characters and their jaw/jawline, or cheeks/cheekbones.

I tried to make Alistair in the CC...he looked so stupid!  Then I realized that we don't have access to all the in-game face stuff (see Cassandra's FABULOUS eyebrows).  It's a shame...if my male quizzie could basically be Alistair, I would be in HEAVEN!!  Oh, and if Steve Valentine would come over to my house and sit beside me and do all the voice acting, etc.  That would be great as well!!

I feel the same way, tho I don't want to dis anyone who feels differently or anything.  I found it odd that there were more choices to keep him on it then tell him to get off it...almost like the writers were trying to convince me it was a better choice.  I thought I might try it with my male quizzie, then the scene came and I was like...no way.  Never. Just not my thing, man. 

 

All that character development through 3 games would be for naught if I made him stay linked to his past like that.  He wants to grow, and growing hurts.  I loved Cassandra's view on it too, before the convo.  The way the camera pans to the fire.  So good!!!

I have seen the DAI punching scenes online.  I mean...how evil do you have to be to get the punches?  It seems almost impossible to play this game as truly sadistic (not like mass effect, which was fun as hell in a way to play renegade...until the Mordin scene...NOOOOOOO!!!).

 

So, I'll let braver souls do it and watch their videos with a disapproving look on my face!!!

Well it is Patrick's "To DO List" so who knows who or what that starfish has on the back of that list.

*sobs in a corner* I DON'T TRY TO BE EVIL...Solas...just hates me...or he would if my current character was not in a romance with him...but then again I suppose that final scene in his romance is going to be a long time coming if I keep stacking up on the disapproval with him.

Hahahaha!  He is just so disapproving of everything.  Bet then i go ask him questions about the fade and he gets happy again.  I just thin kit is funny that he is all about seeing the world in shades of grey rather than black or white, yet if i tell him i think blood magic is just a tad bit dangerous, he gets all miffed.  He is very finicky guy!

Well, I can only seen those on YouTube. My relationship with companions are kinda like Blackwall with Vivienne at first.

Thanks! That's my dwarf warrior, Zhenya, yes, she is. I caught her just as she picked up the sword and shield for the very first fight, taunting the demon by smacking the shield. It took me several tries to get a female dwarf I thought was badass enough (especially the tattoos) and looked mid-30s. I'm not too thrilled with a lot of the dwarven tattoo choices, but I like this one, and it dodged the problem of eye makeup which is driving me crazy (so is blush, obviously .) Here's the picture the profile is cut down from, plus one that shows her face pretty well.

He was SO easy to get approval from my first IQ who was NOT romancing him...and with the one I am...he gives her the "Ima gonna murderknife you in a dark corner...vhenan..." face. And I am quite sure I am choosing the same options I did in my first PT, lol.

Plus, I have dragged Blackwall around for 4 playthoughs all over friggen Thedas to get him Grey Warden crap to make him all happy and for what?  So he can say snarky things to fabulous Dorian?  So he can huff at me because "I am, after all, in charge"? Screw him!  I want Cassandra and Iron Bull this time and that's who I'm gonna take around to protect my squishy mage.  Let the hater's stew at Skyhold!!!!  I am gonna do my thang!!!!

Thanks! That's my dwarf warrior, Zhenya, yes, she is. I caught her just as she picked up the sword and shield for the very first fight, taunting the demon by smacking the shield. I've yet to fiddle with the Dwarves in the CC....the same with the Qunari, but seeing a character like this is making me want to!

 

On another subject...playing with a sword and shield is extremely gratifying in this game. I love playing as a mage, archer, and Orion made me love Sword and Shield as well!

Come ooooon. Blackwall is not that bad...he and Dorian actually get along in the end if you keep them long enough. But then again, almost everybody likes Dorian in the end because he's just that awesome. Lol

On the other hand, Cassandra and Bull banter is hilarious, so go for it!

Especially after "Blackwall's" little reveal and the sass he gave my IQ for rescuing his ass with Josie...well he has spent many weeks in that barn...

 

Besides he was never really in my party for anything other than collecting those Warden Artifacts.

I'm sure this was already discussed, but I don't have time to go through 4300 pages of posts... when in the quest line are you able to talk to Cullen by the tents in Haven for the first flirt opportunity? Each time I play, the next chance I get to talk with him after meeting him in the war room is in front of the chantry talking to Chancellor Roderick! When I look down by the tents before going to the war room, he isn't there. What am I doing wrong? Please help!
