One thing I didn't struggle with in the CC was with the make up. Real life profession comes in handy for games sometimes.

I remembered that, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

If any Cullenite wants to start a campaign for Marriage with LI in DLC, he/she shall have my wholehearted support.
I wouldn't even know where to get one started! But I'd so be on board too!
True 'dat!
Sorry guys, have a smexy Cullen...too bad the hands in the game look so boney-gnarled...
*hotness snip*
Gahhhh... of all the times to run out of likes DX
So, at the Winter Palace when Cullen is being harassed by those admirers, Cullen is asked if he's married and he says (paraphrased from memory):
"No... I'm not married, not yet. I am taken, though."
Is it just me reading into things, or does that mean he's considering marriage with the Inquisitor?
No, its not just you, I got that impression as well. Using the word "yet" sounds to me like at some point Cullen will ask The Inquisitor for their hand in marriage.
However, while I would gladly give Bioware my soul in exchange to see my Inquisitor and Cullen marry, I doubt they would even do such. Sad really.
And BTW you DID get the line correct.
Oh he has totally thought about it. It's so obvious he has! Even before Quiz sleeps with him he says he's thought about their future. Which is why I hope he proposes in a future DLC , please make it happen Bioware.
*snip*
Eh, I'd totally pass that up for more "other type of content" with Cullen. I guess that's just coming from my personality irl...I've been with my b/f since 2006 and I've already told him "no ring for me." Just being together is enough. For all intents and purposes, we might as well be married - we just don't have a piece of paper saying so, and we still file our taxes separately.
But I can see why others would want this!

I'd be content if they even just talked about it (if he doesn't go ahead and propose) in a future DLC. Something like them sitting down together and discussing where they see themselves in the future, and one of them says, "Well, what do you think of marriage?" (and I'd LOVE if Cullen were the one to bring it up first). It's also more likely to happen than an actual wedding and could be just as cute and sweet ![]()
Here, my attempt of the lovely Morticia though I found it hard to make her look older without her looking too old:
Oh, definitely much closer! I couldn't figure out how to get the eyebrow curve or quite the right eye shape. Without the right hair style, I think that's probably about as close as you can get!

Well as I said, I would love to to see Cullen and My Inquisitor marry.
Maybe the reason it is not in the game and probably not going to happen is the way Thedas looks at marriage. My take on the lore about marriage is it is done only for political, power and/or finance reasons. While two people are together they do not need to get married in order for their bond to be official. Thus if two people choose not to get married in the eyes of Thedas they ARE married (if that makes sense). If two people choose to get married outside of the reasons I gave it may be looked as unusual circumstance but not considered a bad one.
However considering Cullen's overwhelming love for The Inquisitor I believe that down the road it may come up in a codex that they did in fact get married. By solidifying their bond to each other not for the reasons people in Thedas getting married for generally but out of love for each other.
Aside from that I like to point something out too. I dunno if anyone has over heard this in the game...
When Cullen and your Inquisitor kiss for the first time and you walk in the main hall of Skyhold, two nobles will be heard chatting.
Female Noble: Would you have ever guessed such a pairing?
Male Noble: Oh yes. The lure of Command.....
As the Cullen and Inquisitor relationship continues...
Male Noble: Has there been an exchange?
Female Noble: Of a sort.
Male Noble: Not that! Gifts. Betrothals.
After you sleep with Cullen:
Female Noble: We've reached the climax.
Male Noble: Were not the only ones!
Female Noble: Your awful!
Kind of sad that two random nobles will speak candidly about your romance yet the companions remain pretty much silent on it <sighs>.

I couldn't get the nose right and her bottom lip is too full. There is something else about it that's bugging me but I think it might be the hair.

While everyone is entitled to envision whatever they'd like to see in the gameworld we create in our minds, this statement kinda stung a bit. I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but still. People can still be "overwhelmingly in love" and not need to get married. It all depends on the individual and what they believe. I don't need to stand in front of anybody to solidify my bond, it's already there. Perhaps I'm a bit defensive about the marriage topic because I have relatives that like to push the issue and I can't stand having to justify my living situation to them.
If you want to see an example of this in-game, take a look at Alistair and the Warden.
Oh and those nobles continue their conversation further - they actually talk about what they'll wear. However, I chalk this up to "nosey nobles being nosey nobles." ![]()

The fact that he says 'not yet' instead of a simple 'no', 'nah' 'nah bruh', says something in my opinion. With the way he talks about his siblings and, to quote Varric, acts like a doting parent to his soldiers, he definitely shows an affinity for being a family man.

In my picture, her mouth might be slightly wider, and the corners are slightly upturned (she's always just barely smiling a wicked little smile). I think you did a great job with the nose! The ears kind of throw things a little because they're never visible in the movies; her hair covers them.

Yeah, she has this barely-there smirk. We need to combine our efforts, lol. But yes, definitely need the hair to be framing the face. ![]()

Well, how & when will we start?
I'm rooting for this (at least a proposal or codex ), no need for the huuuuge ceremony à la Dahlia Lynn's Royal Wedding but... a mention may suffice.
I can completely imagine Cullen & Trevelyan (mage & non mage) got married, but still don't know about Cullen & Lavellan? I mean, Dalish do wedding or not?
Okaaaaay I'm making a lady Lavellan... rooting for her & Solas & fail lamentably already since I can't stop myself from choosing that damned pink icon everytime I talk to Cullen... fortunately I'm still at Haven... ![]()
Solas is really delicious, especially that now I start reading all codex. He has lovely voice & has interesting things to say about magic & elven lore & the Fade. ![]()
Luthiel Lavellan
At least we have Dorian (my FAVORITE romance reaction):
Spoiler
That is undoubtably my favorite reaction. I grinned soooo much after hearing those two lines, if I didn't already adore Dorian by that point it would have sealed it ![]()

My mind still boggles at how different toons look in-game vs CC...I think she's pretty!

We may have to wait for Adela's magic. ![]()
I think you got really close on the eyes, but none of the eye shapes are perpetually half-lidded either, and I think that would look closer (if the way I'm describing it makes any sense).
I have no idea why I'm obsessed with this since I don't actually plan to run a human
. Though, hmm, Morticia Trevelyan, the necromancer mage?

I will always think Anjelica Houston is one of the prettiest ladies in history...especially as Morticia:

I personally take from the ball and many other times when he seems to want to confirm that the Quizzy wants a future with him that he would lean towards marriage and that's what I would want for my Quizzy.
That being said I think they cannot have this "Cullen will marry the Inquisitor" etc in game because some people will not want marriage. That doesn't mean they value their relationship between their Quizzy & Cullen less, they just don't want or see it or even see a need for it. Heck, irl I cannot see myself marrying my partner of almost 9yrs, I just don't see a reason for a "piece of paper" (that's my opinion of it for my relationship).
Not picking at anyone, just my 2cents.
I think this really needs to be left for "head cannon" stuff imho
Maybe they could make something in the Keep? Prob for next game maybe...I'd be happy with that!
