My mind still boggles at how different toons look in-game vs CC...I think she's pretty!

Thank you!!

The colouring on CC is very off actually, since we don't get any lighting that is common in-game. I get the impression that the final result is always one tone softer/lighter than in CC. And also the greenish lighting don't help, I was sure that her eyes were green in the CC and finally they are not.

I also noticed that jaw/chin/cheek shape doesn't seem to translate so well from the CC. I think this has to do with the fact that you can't tilt the head up or down in CC, just side to side. This was one thing they should have given us (like they with ME).

I will always think Anjelica Houston is one of the prettiest ladies in history...especially as Morticia:

Whoa, marriage bits. Agreed that Cullen seems marriage-minded. The "not yet". Not sure how it'd work out though with him being in a different social class of sorts. My canon Quizzy's a Trevelyan. I think I could see them going as far as married but the Inquisitor had to consolidate the power to herself. I don't see the benefit of titling Cullen just to satiate others' opinion of what is acceptable in a marriage and not.

I also see Trevelyan creating a legacy through copious amounts of children. Why? How else do you solidify your reign on things...totally imagining her being the Queen Victoria of Thedas. Bunch of kids an a bunch of calculated alliances through marriage. (Does anyone find it funny that both Josephine and Cullen have the same amount of siblings with 2 boys 2 girls?) I love kids, don't get me wrong, but I'm actually much more likely to evolve into a crazy dog lady instead.

True, it's hard to see how the haw & cheek & chin will take shape at a vertical angle.

The colouring is even worse at Hawke's CC since the lighting is quite red so I always get one tone too dark...

Weirdly, the "default" face for Hawke is already pretty when the 5 default face for female human inquisitor is just... nuh-uh

I personally take from the ball and many other times when he seems to want to confirm that the Quizzy wants a future with him that he would lean towards marriage and that's what I would want for my Quizzy.

That being said I think they cannot have this "Cullen will marry the Inquisitor" etc in game because some people will not want marriage. That doesn't mean they value their relationship between their Quizzy & Cullen less, they just don't want or see it or even see a need for it. Heck, irl I cannot see myself marrying my partner of almost 9yrs, I just don't see a reason for a "piece of paper" (that's my opinion of it for my relationship).

Not picking at anyone, just my 2cents.

I think this really needs to be left for "head cannon" stuff imho

Maybe they could make something in the Keep? Prob for next game maybe...I'd be happy with that!

How about this: Cullen ask for marriage, then the Inquisitor can tell him this:

1. Yes

2. No, we don't need that, I know that we love each other & that is sufficient.

Like that everyone's happy

Yes I'm totally quoting myself...I think I just thought of my next char's name...  B)

What are you going to call him/her? :D

If they did marriage I imagine it would be like they did in SWTOR. you have the option to be married with a little ceremony (official or not) or you can choose not to marry but stay committed.

We may have to wait for Adela's magic. ;)

I think you got really close on the eyes, but none of the eye shapes are perpetually half-lidded either, and I think that would look closer (if the way I'm describing it makes any sense).

I have no idea why I'm obsessed with this since I don't actually plan to run a human :P . Though, hmm, Morticia Trevelyan, the necromancer mage?

I totes get you on the half-lidded eye thing.  ;) Though I will never get to benefit from all of Adela's hard work.  :(

Morticia Trevelyan, the necromancer mage sound so good! Doooo ittttt!

About marriage with LI, when Cullen may want to marry her girl, I can't imagine how it will be with Sera.

It will be mayhem, Sera, mayheeeeem!

I can imagine Dorian or BW or Cass marrying his partner though,  they seem to be marriage materials. IB's an interesting concept but it's still imaginable. But Sera...

EDIT: well, if there will be wedding, it'll be sad for Solasians...

I liked the wedding with Corso on my Smuggler.

Corso: "You know, as a ship captain, you could legally marry us."

Smuggler: "Done.  Now let's skip right to the honeymoon  ;) "

I like small/simple weddings.  If I had the choice, I'd elope IRL if I ever get married, but I know it would hurt my mom... so small wedding it is.  I wouldn't want to put my Inquisitor and Cullen through a large wedding.

Cullen doesn't seem to be the sort of people who will be comfortable with large wedding filled with people he doesn't really know or appreciate. Small ceremony with close friends & family probably?

Or just... living together, comitting to each other without marriage ceremony... (can't imagine my Lavellan want to marry him, while my Trevelyan's not going to say no if he proposes...)

Yeah, marriage isn't required (just something nice to think about).  I'm not quite sure how it would work with my mage!Trevelyan, either.  According to Bann Teagan in DA: O, mages can legally marry, but then we hear conflicting stuff about mages not being allowed to have families etc.  Of course, I see there being reforms on that depending on the future Divine.

I hated Corso. He's just not to my liking. Shame bc my Smuggler was my main I'd go raiding on.

I LOVED Doc. Personally thought the Jedi Knight story was a bore but he made up for it. His marriage was hilarious and sweet too.

Spoiler

Of course the Bounty Hunter and Torian was a really cute unofficial wedding too.

Two of my good friends just got engaged (to each other). They're thinking of eloping to Vegas and I told them that we (my b/f and I) should go with them to witness and we'll all wear Elvis costumes...  :D

:o Corso was my favorite.  His old-fashioned country boy thing made me swoon, heh.  I also used my Gunslinger as my main for raiding.  Which server did you raid on?  I played on the Ebon Hawk server, but haven't been on since DA: I's release.

I think it all depends on what Circle the mage is from. Some were not as strict as others. The Ferelden Circle never seemed bad to me--well, before Uldred went all cray cray that is. But I could see mages maybe having special permission to marry though I think they would have to be well past their harrowing, at least in their middle years.

JK was my fav story so far, but Doc was just...VOMITOUS! Now Scourge on the other hand... *fans self*

My JK was dark-side and very jaded with The Order. In my head, she was originally with Doc, but she got very close to Scourge. Towards the end of the main campaign, everybody started to question his influence over her. In the end, she ended up falling in love with Scourge and leaving Doc for him. I even went so far as to roll a Sith Warrior that was their daughter (you know how they have the whole legacy tree thingy).

I can also see where some people might like this as an option, which would be great, as long as it isn't required and as long as your LI takes it well. However, I wouldn't bet on a small wedding if you do say yes. Do you really think your bff, the divine (whoever she is) is going to let you off the hook without her performing the ceremony? Not to mention the rest of the Inquisition plus, if you're a Trevelyan, all of your noble relatives, which might be half the nobles in Thedas. It could also be a great statement about mage reform (I would hope even Vivienne, the least reform minded, would put an end to children being taken from mage parents.) I actually think it would be a fantastic option for a Lavellan-Cullen relationship (the Dalish talk about bonding in DAO, which appears to be their form of marriage.) Imagine the statement of reform it would make for the Divine to marry a Dalish to a human in the grand cathedral at Val Royeaux? Of course, that does become a little problematic if the Dalish doesn't worship the Maker... :P

Oh I havent played in almost 2 years but I don't remember which server I was on since my original server merged onto one of the bigger ones. I was a sawbones scoundrel. i had such a hard time with Corso on the initial planet that I felt I had to go heals to survive and stayed heals/pissed at him ever since.

I did like that he gave you guns for gifts though. I really like a practical gift. He was just super clingy. and a bit patronizing.

Scourge could have been interesting, I agree. I found Doc annoying at first, then I realized that if you played his "I can't be tied down" game, he flays hilariously. So I had fun with his that way.

Corso was kind of cute, but they over-did the farm boy routine for my taste, and he didn't fit my smuggler's personality. I'd have preferred to romance Akavi myself.

My favorite romance was the pirate, Andronikos. Hitting on the Sith guard on Alderaan while he's along, he just comments that you know how that's going to go, and as long as you say, sure, but once I'm done, I'll put him back, he gives you approval for being honest. Yeah, he's a little bloodthirsty, but you always knew exactly where you stood with him. And his proposal is a riot (stolen engagement ring and all).

I haven't played seriously in over a year.

Alas, they didn't add any additional romances. From what I read on the Wookiepedia, Scourge was initially intended to be a romance but was cut...bring forth sad-puppy face. You can definitely see where it could have easily been included based on some of the conversations you have with him (just like Bishop in NWN2). That relationship will need to stay in my head.

I had two Sith Warriors. One was a human Maurader, the other was a Pureblood Juggernaut. The Pureblood was my favorite. She's the one that was my head-canon love-baby between my JK and Scourge. My JK was a red Twi'lek, so my Jugg ended up being a Pureblood with more rounded features (since the Purebloods were essentially "bred" away by the blending of races). She ended up being a Jugg because of her daddy's training. I've obviously spent too much time thinking about this, lol

Quinn is one of my favorite Bioware romances though...despite everything.
