I'm surprised I haven't seen anyone bring up the fact that Cullen may very well be an uncle to a small litter of children.

:o I want this! That is adorable to me. They can all jump on him and battle to pull him to the ground. Can you imagine a cute little girl with blond ringlets with her arms outstretched and saying "Uncle Cully, pick me up!" and then pokes her tongue out at the Inquisitor once she is in his arms because she has claimed his attention. I want, I want, I want.  ^_^

So, I attempted to make an attractive female Elf to do a Solas-mance playthrough... turns out, I'm even worse at making elves than I am making humans!

I think I've gotten better at the CC than the actual game. >.<

So then that scene with Flemeth just doesn't happen then...? That upsets me a little. Everything about the encounter between Flemeth and Morrigan was monumental. She was finally standing up to her mother, and she really showed her vulnerability for the first time...

No..it happens, just completely different. Instead of going thru Eluviaun, you meet up with her in a field.  It is a pretty good scene!

Makeup is a real pita in this game, to be honest. I either end up looking a bit clownish or as if I'm wearing none. I like really low-key makeup most of the time on PCs, but while I'd actually like a little eye-make up on a couple of mine, I came to the conclusion the only safe way to be certain I didn't waste an hour in CC, then the prologue, is to give mine no eye makeup except liner, sigh. However, I've realized Derzka is definitely worth keeping since I keep seeing screenshots I want to capture of her. I think I nailed the age, etc. that I wanted for her, even if the blush and lip color only show up at all in some lighting.

Argh, I can't run Witcher cause it keeps popping up: Warning! Mininum system requirements not met!

Like warning what? No **** sherlock, I know it already, now let me play. I'm playing DAO below them and Deus Ex HR way below them but they let me play and chose myself if I want my system to run things that are too hard for it. But this game doesn't let me have even option. I don't care if I'm under, I want to play myself and decide if it lags too much and my graphic card can't take it >_< It's BS that it doesn't let it run at all.

Yeah, that's something I'm learning too! Makes me wonder if I would have been disappointed with DA:O if I had followed its development since I know loads of stuff was cut and changed during the 6 years it was being made. Even with DA2, I wasn't keen on it at first but it grew on me fairly quickly and I wasn't around for it's development either so I don't know what they promised from that one.

Sadly, yeah. It's normal. Not just for things to get cut, but for content to change. I bet if you'd been following DA:O's development you would've been like "Aw, I was really looking forward to that human commoner play through, etc ..." On the plus side, no guest Cullen in Origins eventually led to all the glorious Cullen content we got in the two games that followed ^_^

Even though I would have loved more story scenes with everyone, there's really a huge amount of content in this game. I haven't played Skyrim yet, but I'm positive that when I do it will feel lacking in that aspect for me. I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but it's just a feeling I have. At least we'll be sure to get what I hope will be substantial DLC for this game.

That quest taunts my little completionist heart... sitting there, with its little diamond... all *unfinished*... grrr. I guess I could go back and do it after I recruit my agent and don't need favor anymore. Hmm.... <_<

Huh, I did that one before I even knew there was a Dalish camp.  I rather enjoyed being chewed out by the Keeper -- I'd expected Solas to complain, but he didn't, which surprised and annoyed me.  And it was possibly a bit OOC for my goody-good IQ.  But there were demons that needed killing, and a mosaic piece, and I wasn't leaving that behind!

Did all of the other quests for the Dalish and I'm pretty sure I still ended up with enough favor to recruit the agent even without herding the Halla... which I did anyway, because I am a glutton for punishment.  ;)   So you're probably okay.

For years, we used to get together with friends for a tabletop RPG on NY Eve, which was fun because the older kids could join in, and the younger ones could play until they crashed. Since my friends and I got too old to take along sleeping bags and crash, though, we've just stayed in, though sometimes we've gotten together for an MMORPG run or just to yak online in voice chat with friends (almost all of my friends live at least two hours away now.) This year, we have homemade pizza for supper, and rocky road ice cream with a shot of Godiva chocolate liqueur over top for later in the evening and hard cider for greeting the New Year.  :P

False Alarm, I found workaround in forums. It seems like it's common problem with the game. Good, I wouldn't want my game babysit me :P

Let this be my official HAPPY NEW YEAR, CULLENITES!

Here's to hoping fireworks remain in the sky and not darting across land. I've had my hair singed in the past due to drunks + fireworks + crowds = not safe at the beach, yet I'm going back this year...call me crazy.

Anyways, I will see you all next year! /shot ( :P both metaphorically and literal drinking variant)

I usually go with shadow intensity 2nd from the right. Liner intensity 1st from the right. It seems to come out pretty nice (most noticeable in dark lighting)...not too strong, but not too subtle either:

I remember my old PC being able to run DA:O just fine, but The Witcher almost exploded it. This was even after I upgraded the "stock" graphics card.

Godiva chocolate liqueur

OH NOES! This is my nemesis...oh the choco-tinis...that was the one and only time I made a mess of my best friend's bathroom and was carried to bed by her b/f...I was told they shoved water down my throat so I wouldn't wake up with a hangover.

The thing I hate about makeup is the blusher. I either look all right or like I picked the way wrong color. I can never one shade that looks good in all situations.

Guh! Karma is sooo bad right now. Husband hit a deer on Christmas Eve, I majorly sprained my ankle leaving the house the day after Christmas and spent all weekend on crutches, 4 -year-old has the flu so bad he can't keep anything down today, and the heating element in our furnace just died ... and it's not even hitting 30 for high temp today.

My husband bought a lottery ticket because he figures our luck has to change soon, but I'm afraid at this rate they're going to call us and tell we OWE them money after the drawing.

Man that sucks!

For blush I go with 1st from the left...so just barely there.

What is your skin tone?

Or are you not talking about real life?

I do my characters by taking all the hair and makeup off. Then I make sure the underlying head and facial structure is how I want it before going back and putting hair on. I choose the hair style to go with the head and face I created.

Then I slide up the intensity sliders on the makeup all the way to pick the color. Once I have a colors I like, I set the intensity down all the way to zero before slowly adding it back to the desired amounts.

The only one I have trouble with is the blush.

In RL, I'm a cool skin tone and don't generally have much trouble with that although I don't bother with makeup much because I have sensitive skin and it winds up being more trouble than it's worth. :)

I always keep the blush at the 2nd or 3rd on the left, so there is only a hint of it.

Have you tried all natural makeup? Makeup is my obsession :) And part of that obsession is also researching what ingredients are in it and their safety.

I always have a lot of trouble with make up irl. It's not that I can't make it look good, it just won't stay looking good. Eyeshadow always creeps into my eye fold so that eventually my whole lid is clear except for this small line... -_-

It's so much easier in game. XD

Edit: I only have pictures of Tiny Cullen xD

If you use an eyeshadow primer that should prevent your eyeshadow from doing that.

One thing I love about makeup is the way it can transform, this is me earlier this year as Serah Farron from FFXII

Sorry for going off-topic.

back on topic, I am still not getting any new convo from Cullen, doing his Before the Dawn Quest now hoping to trigger more :)
