Good grief...and that's all in about a 10sec window...it was bad enough getting a decent screenie BEFORE the blur.

Ok now I'm determined. I am going to spend some of my day playing with Flycam's FoV a little more...

If you keep the camera far back and zoom in by changing the field of view, you can keep the scene blur-free (even when it starts fading to black). Not easy to time, but it's a workaround of sorts.

Spoiler

I used this method to get a lot of my Cullen close-ups.

Blackwall is a very divisive character, for reasons you'll find out on your own (do avoid reading spoilers), and people tend to get heated up discussing him. We don't bring him up much in the thread anymore because every time it was done before it turned into a barrage of "372932591 reasons why I hate Blackwall" versus me and the other three or four of his fans we have here going "can we please not turn this into a Blackwall hate thread?" :P Like Tish said, the contentiousness is why we largely avoid the subject these days. This thread generally tries to avoid character hate of all sorts. Sebastian, Anders, Blackwall... it's better we all just agree to disagree about these more controversial characters, and continue agreeing that our Cullen-Wullen is the bee's knees.

But I do love Blackwall, his romance is my second favorite in the game, and I do recommend giving it a try with another character at some point. He can be very wrong for certain Inquisitors, but he can also be a very good romance for the right kind of character.

My third favorite romance is Sera, who also doesn't get discussed a lot here... I guess because we just don't have a very large number of F/F fans? It happens, people tend to flock certain ways. More people here tend to like Solas romance, which did nothing for me - Sera's, on the other hand, is adorable and heartbreaking in just the right way for my tastes. I've romanced her with two different characters now, and resisting her has become the same struggle I have with resisting Blackwall's charms. Not flirting with them is haaard.

Well, I'd like to point out that I'm not a Blackwall hater, just have problems with how his romance is done, and I respect that we have different opinions on my particular objection.  ;)  I actually have no particular opinion on Sebastian and Anders as it happens either, I just find neither attractive, but I can see the appeal to others. I actually liked DAA Anders, but Anders-Justice does nothing for me. What puts me off Sebastian isn't the same thing I hear other people state (you can PM me if you really want to know, it isn't actually that negative, but no reason to start that discussion on the forum).

Actually, I'm not sure that Sera's lack of popularity has anything to do with f/f fans. I adored Isabella in a f/f romance, and I'd have loved for Morrigan and Cassandra to be f/f romanceable. Of the four romances available to my dwarven females, hers is the only one I moderately like as written (just not nearly as much as all four romances my dwarves are gated from). Her brand of nuttiness is a bit over the top for me at times, and some of the things she says put me off and leaves me lukewarm on her as an LI, and I suspect that's what puts some people off.

I'm going with Skyhold having a crush on the Inquisitor, if only because I'm tired of everything being about Solas in every theory out there. I want at least some special snowflakey-ness for my IQ too. Hell, I'll even take Leliana's blessed immortality holding Skyhold together, or the fierceness of Dorian's mustache and Vivienne's outfits combined holding the magical wards together on their own, or even the strength of Cassandra punching sneezes into Skyhold's walls making them stand stronger... or even Cantina's A+++ theory of termites holding hands. Anything to make this game less about Solas and more about... everything else that was also involved in this story. :P

True, I do find it more than a little annoying that pretty much everything can be potentially attributed to Solas.

I find it intriguing more than anything else. Makes me wonder if he'd been pulling the strings behind the scenes throughout the whole game without us realising.

I shall try this!

You'll want to use the Page Down button. It'll zoom you in all the way as soon as you press the button, and you probably won't be able to tell what you're even looking at, but keep the button pressed down and it should slowly zoom you out.

Well, from what I understand it wasn't him, cause he was sleeping for the past millennia, and then when he woke up he gave the Orb to Corypheus because he could not open it alone.

I think Flemeth was a primary shaper of events, particularly so she could bring forth "a reckoning that will shake the very heavens".

Also, I'm of a mind that the Blight is a sentient entity, and whoever/whatever helped let it loose the first time is the other major shaper of history. Because I believe that the Blight was a factor in the downfall of the elves.

I think it is:

1. The stolen throne

2. The calling

3. Asunder

4. Masked empire

5. Last Flight

Ok so this is totally off-topic but I have to vent since I can't do it on fb. I live in a family-owned duplex where my parents live in one apartment and my b/f and I live in the other. All of our cars are parked together in back. So, I just found out like 15min ago that my mother's car was broken into last night, as was my b/f's. My car was untouched (thank goodness). Neither of theirs were locked (dumb, I know), but my car is a convertible, which is pretty much an open invitation to get slashed even being locked. The crazy thing is that nothing was missing. My mom even had her purse in the car (really dumb, I know) and she said it was still there. The change that had fallen out of it was still there. The nipper bottle of Jack was still there. All of the stuff in the center console was strewn about, but her sunglasses and gps were still there. I told her to make sure all her paperwork in the glove box was there and yes it was. So WHAT THE HECK WERE THEY LOOKING FOR? My b/f's car door was left open, but other than that, appeared untouched. I didn't even see a stray hand print on my car so they didn't even try (which is weird considering you can look through the window and see that I have an mp3 player running to the head unit). I'm so confused and disturbed right now.  :bandit:

Thanks for reading and sorry for the derail.

I've only read the first three so far though and know that is the order of those at least!

Speaking of character emotion, I am making a wee scrapbook of my quizzie.  I think the facial expressions of the quizzie are well done as well!!!  She can go from scathing glare to sweet smile and it REALLY adds depth to my quizzie (remember the blank stare of DAO's warden??).

Thanks for reading and sorry for the derail.

Could be possible they were looking for keys to get inside the house.

My mom also had her car broken into a few years ago and nothing was taken. The center console was open and a bunch of envelopes were (neatly, weird) placed on the passenger seat. More than likely they were trying to find the garage opener, which wasn't in the car.

It seems the reason he got involved with the inquisition wasn't mere curiosity, but was to clean up his mess. Why would you do such things Solas?! Could the final battle have felt so abrupt because they didn't want Corypheus to blab too much plot?
