It's just nice to see him laughing at long last. In DA:O and DA2 we were desperately freezing scenes to try and catch a hint of a half smile, lol.

I adore 90% of his suggestions because he's so snarky or utterly ridiculous about it! I wish we could've seen more of that directly from the horses mouth though, those early scenes with him in Haven where he's regularly seen have a snark fest are some of my favourites in the game.
His best suggestions are in these nobility-related missions where it's so painfully clear that he just doesn't give a damn. Josie and Leliana are all super invested in playing games and one-upping this noble and destroying that noble, and Cullen is like, wow I don't care, send her home in a barrel or something. You can almost hear his long-suffering sigh in the background.

I love how he just can't be arsed with the Orlesian game, or all the fuss and pointlessness of nobilities way of dealing with things... which also make him dating a Trevelyan even more amusing to me since she's from nobility herself. My Trevelyan doesn't care for all that bollocks either, so I find the pair of them being snarky about it together/individually to other people good fun.

Apparently that laugh caught Josephine's VA so off guard, she was laughing too hard to say her line.

My absolute favorite is probably the Box Tour one.

Yes, I love the war table.
Leliana's all - We send agents here and go all stabbity there ...
Josie's all - I know his third cousin three times removed and have these rumors we could plant at this little party ...
Cullen's like - Oh Maker's Breath, just do this ...

I found it hilarious when both Leliana and Cullen were like "y'know, we could just let Celene die..." during the Winter Palace quest! I roared with laughter at how excited they were by the idea!

Yes, that one got me by surprise, too. My Quizzie did a double take and was like, "WHAT?! I thought I was supposed to save her?"
This last time I was trying hard to put Gaspard there and wound up with Celene there anyhow.

I would've put Gaspard on the throne and let Celene die as well, but I don't trust him to keep peace with Ferelden and his blatant disregard for the Elves is really harsh. Gotta say, Celene isn't half as good at the game as history has us believe! There's no denying, she's waaaaay past her fighting best.

Does anyone know what Gaspard does with Celene if you put him on the throne?

Ah, is that the only way to get him on the throne? I was hoping he'd lock her up somewhere or something.

His disdain for nobility is exactly what makes me love the non-mage Trevelyan romance. My Trev loves playing the little nobility games, but also finds them and herself utterly ridiculous even as she plays them, so the dynamics with Cullen and his nobility-hating ways make their relatioship all the more fiery and amusing. The conversation between noble Trev and Cullen after the Orlesian ball, with her both defending and deriding the Game and Cullen sighing and finding her fascination with the whole thing both endearing and insufferable at the same time, it gives me life.

Yeah, Gaspard can't do anything to her because she's already dead by that point anyways.Ah, is that the only way to get him on the throne? I was hoping he'd lock her up somewhere or something.
