I've yet to see this in game so it caught me off guard and I wound up giggling really hard and replaying it for a couple of minutes.
I'd save often before talking to Varric anyway.

I love that scene so much! My only problem for my current PT is that Dorian's quest glitched out...as in I never got it...so he won't be showing up to the Wicked Grace game. The animations are still leaps and bounds ahead of DA2 imo....but there are still those awkward moments...
Yeah, the same thing happened to me in my playthrough, although Dorian still shows up in various other scenes, his personal quest and all his dialogue options are nowhere to be seen. Which makes me feel bad because I want to do a playthrough where I keep him around in the party the entire time, because it's like he's now stuck on the bench the entire game.
Oh, it's back at Skyhold! The first time you speak to him after the ball, he'll comment on his distaste for the game. The flirt option is by far the best one, because it mentions the dancing and he gives one of the cutest flirt lines ("I'm grateful for your poor taste in dance partners"), but if you pick the others, specially the sarcastic one, the conversation goes on about the game and the ball and how ridiculous it all was, and you have the option to say you enjoyed the whole affair.
Ah, that's why I didn't get those lines! I always pick the flirt option lol.

His quest was glitched for me as well, but he was in the wicked grace scene.

Yeah the Dorian + Bull realationship was not somthing I enjoyed just by his own treatment of Dorian ie calling him mage boy or just how he treated him in the realationship.Regardless those videos are going to be rather entertaining with all the theories running about. Hopefully you can sift through the bull and find some logical/feasible theory.

True...very true. Bioware has never been one to handle relationships all that well when it comes to the one that Briala and Celene had. I mean look what we got with Dorian and Bull...some people like it...others find it wrong due to Bull's speech and Dorian's rejection.

This is why I hate it when prospective love interests hook up on the side. They end up acting in ways that seem at odds with how they normally are, or especially with how they are when in a relationship with YOU.

LOL, yes. For a moment the memory of Steve Urkel's characteristic guffaw flashed vividly through my mind. I agree with Josie's VA wholeheartedly - love that Greg chose to continue characterizing Cullen as such an awkward nerd sometimes. Cullen's laughter is adorable and he needs to laugh more often. I hope Varric manages to convince him to play many more rounds of Wicked Grace in the future.

...Bull pursued Dorian while he was with you? Wow when I did my Dorian PT I never had that happen with Bull trying to go after him or Dorian...well he isn't even really interested in Bull.

The same sorta thing happens if you don't romance Fenris in DA2. With Hawke he's all like "it hurts when people touch me, but maybe not with you..." But if you don't romance him he and Isabella get all freaky-deaky, and it seems very OOC on his part (at least to me).
Well I'll just warn you then, as tempting as it is to do otherwise, you only get this laugh if you let Varric tell his story.

Does it happen every time? Bc I was never able to do anything with Dorian in my first PT because of the glitch... and I was really hoping the same thing wouldn't happen this time.

Aww! lol! Allegra has him pegged! It's moments like this that make me wonder if the VAs are reacting honestly and being recorded. Like it was Greg's first time reading the line and laughing about it? Or it's just the Greg's that good.

I'm curious because I've seen some of it on YouTube and I never got this feeling at all. What makes it seem abusive?
There was this one banter will Bull was basically like he finally conquered the Tevinter and loved "breaking" him. Dorain continuously told him to stop talking about it and Bull would not stop...he will only shrug it off and continue being crude. Now I love Bull and Dorain...just not together. I think their relationship could be on the edge of verbal abuse if not psychological. I know that is just my own interpretation and we all are different, but hopefully I don't make anyone too angry with my thoughts.
