I guess I was being dense that week because I actually thought he meant that physically being touched hurt.
Apparently it does, but you can count on an expert in the bedroom like Isabela to figure ways around that... ![]()

I'm inclined to Celene/Briala as well. I think it's the only real chance of some change for elves, and even if Ferelden can hold off an invasion by Gaspard (if he doesn't hold to a treaty, and considering various things he's been connected to, I don't trust him two inches), that's not something they need on top of everything else they've dealt with recently.
I'll also give full disclosure... part of the reason I go for Celene + Briala (other than legitimately believing it's the best option for Orlais at this point) is that my canon playthrough is and will always be hardcore women-ruled, so Gaspard was never an option to begin with, and I think Celene and Briala working together are leagues more competent than either have ever been alone.
In my world: Anora rules Ferelden (with Alistair, but even he agrees she is better at hard politics than him). The Hero of the Fifth Blight was a woman. My fem Orlesian Warden is Warden-Commander in Ferelden, adding to Clarel in Orlais. My fem Hawke rules Kirkwall, and even if she's on leave right now she left Aveline in charge (Bran is essentially dishwater, bless his heart). Fem Hawke also rules Starkhaven beside Sebastian (and let's just say she is better at leading people than her husband, ahem). Now Celene and Briala are ruling Orlais together. My fem Inquisitor basically owns the entire South. Two of her three most trusted advisors are women, and the third is only there to look pretty.
Cassandra is my Divine, and if I have any say in it, Vivienne will work with her to rebuild the Circles into self-governed universitas. Cass is also in charge of reconstructing the Seekers/Templars into a better purpose. Basically, every bit of Thedas politics I can touch is and will always ruled by women, and I love it and live for it. Even if the results are not always ideal because women can be terrible rulers too, there are zero other games where I can accomplish the same, so I make it my mission to put women in power everywhere I can in this universe.

Noooo (thank GOD!) I mean the way he is with Dorian is different from the way he was with me. It was very sweet and passionate. But from what I've read about Bull x Dorian it's almost demeaning, and Dorian doesn't even seem 100% on board.
Kind of like Isabela x Fenris; with Hawke Fenris is reticent and afraid to get too close, but a couple flirts with Isabela is all it takes for him to bang her like they're a pair of bunnies.
It irritates me and makes "our" romance feel less special.
OHHHHH okay, lol! Yeah I agree Bull is very different when he is with the Dorian when compared with the IQ. I also agree that it seems like Dorian is not fully on board...their relationship basically started when he was drunk and we know he has a drinking problem...it just kind of seems like Bull took advantage of him.
Isabela has that effect on people. I once again love Isabela and Fenris...but their relationship yet again does not make sense. I actually find Isabela's romance to be very sweet, much like Morrigan's once you dig down and find out she cares.

I actually plan to use almost all of my DAO PTs at some point. In only one is Anora ruling alone because she needs someone with a strong moral sense like Alistair to balance her. In that single one, my Dalish warden didn't give a fig what happened to Ferelden, and she wasn't about to settle for being his mistress when they could be together in the wardens. I like a world with lots of strong women in power, but I don't let that be my main reason for my choices. I adore Aveline, btw, and while I liked Leliana in DAO, I love the harder, more decisive one in DAI. I think my favorite DAO worldstate is a Warden rogue queen in a political marriage with Zevran as her lover. With the pair of them around to protect him from assassins, Alistair is very safe. ![]()
Huh. I tried to research the banters but I haven't found that one in any of the banter videos. There is one where Bull describes in some detail how he'll "conquer" the Tevinter, but that's before anything happens, and there's one where he trolls a little about the night they spent together and the frilly undies that Dorian apparently left, but nothing like what you describe. O_oThere was this one banter will Bull was basically like he finally conquered the Tevinter and loved "breaking" him. Dorain continuously told him to stop talking about it and Bull would not stop...he will only shrug it off and continue being crude. Now I love Bull and Dorain...just not together. I think their relationship could be on the edge of verbal abuse if not psychological. I know that is just my own interpretation and we all are different, but hopefully I don't make anyone too angry with my thoughts.

Understandable but still disappointing because it was one of those decisions that I had to set the game down for a couple days to decide!

What does the Warden's letter say when she's in a political relationship with Alistair with a love on the side? I presume it isn't anything about returning to her King, LOL!

To be honest I'm not sure I can judge how much of a relationship really exists between them at all. From what I can tell they spend some nights together but it hasn't really gone much further than that, even by the end of the game.
I believe I was with Cass, Bull, and Dorian when the banter I am talking about fired. I don't know if it is one of the ones that glitch out, but he certainly said he enjoyed "breaking/conquering" the Tevinter. I remember it so vividly because it was so random and out of character *imo*...just like the Cole and Bull banter which I remember due to the sheer awkardness, lol!
I will try to see if I can find a video. There may be one in the thread where people are candidly discussing BullxDorian,
I agree in the sense that it is hard to judge how much of a relationship they had, but it doesn't seem to be the best kind of one or the ideal one for at least Dorian that is.

Oh, definitely. All of my world states where Anora is still ruling have her ruling with Alistair, because alone she'd be a trainwreck. They need each other for balance. That's pretty much my reasoning for C/B ruling together too - they balance each other out, and work better bouncing ideas off each other than going full crazy on their own.
