Sera: Well...her name wasn't circumstance, but thats it. Thats the end. You always end at the good part, yeah?

With Sloas in my party I got attacked by wolves a lot more than I did with out him in my party and am I like that not hinting anything right bioware

 

I laughed quite loudly while playing as a Lavellan when wolves attacked my party in the cutscene during Solas's companion quest...

I love the snow idea. I couldn't help but think the same thing this round as all the wolves kept howling while I was trying to find Skyhold! I'm now convinced that I was being... guided.  /headcanon accepted!

I have yet to make it to Skyhold . I might be getting close if I wasn't insisting on playing two IQs in rotation.

I actually have a headcanon of this, as well, since one of my quizzy mage Trayvlen younger brothers is gay and are family loves him for it. Plus he is one of two brothers so not in danger of being whiped out....So hearing about this guy who father that used blood magic to try and change him would be horrid too her and her family and they invite him over too stay for a time before he goes back to Trevinter. She and her family are in contact regularly and verily close, since I never got truly disowned by my family since I got speical treatment from the Templar Knights due to family being banns.

Lol, I like your settings. I'm getting used to romance Dorian as a rogue though, because my male quizzie is a tempest DW rogue, he's very protective in battles. Any enemy attack Dorian he will just go "ice flask", taunt them to attack him instead then stab the crap out of them. Lol

Hmm, maybe I need to armor up Blackwall on my mage PT in place of Cass. Cass and my warrior are bff, so she stays in that party. I find Cass, Solas, and Sera to be a pretty funny party, though it's weird that it's Cass and Solas who actually get along.

Has anyone specialized as a Necromancer or Knight Enchanter out there?  Or both?  I played Rift Mage last time (cause getting to suck people into a vortex and then pound them with a stone fist is endlessly fun to me).  I have my spirit hilt made up but...it just seems so lame to be a Knight Enchanter after that...thoughts?

Yes please winters graps ftw. Though, my Mage quizzy has two brothers and one sister. Two of the children are Mages that went back home to stay out of the fighting, however the youngest mage, which is my PC is chosen to repersent the Trayvlen's house at the Conclave. She romanced Cullen of course, since she is not in too some of the others guys in her group although the handsome elf is too her liking sadly he not into her that way. And grows out the crush and falls madly in love with Cullen.

My female quizzie is KE, it's awesome, you can just go barrier and get in there kick their ass without need to worry about dying because...endless barrier

But Solas looks so badass with his magic now I wanna try rift mage...

I've specialised as a Knight-Enchanter. I liked it. Although it seems a bit OP at times.

Everytime I write crude hypothetical banter on these forums, I take a moment to stop and look at actual lines from the game... and realise that I have so much to learn when it comes to writing smut!

Pfft, any woman can do that... especially a woman who happens to rule Orlais. What she done there isn't hard to accomplish, trust me.

Knight Enchanter was super fun and more versatile than Rift mage in my opinion. Lots of passives that make you tankish, uber sword and different elemental damage for a flavour. I was surprised I enjoyed it so much. But it is more about being close and personal to your enemies (soloing dragon fights ftw) instead of CCing the battlefield.

 

Edit: agree on OP at times. Mainly due to perma barrier.

I brought BW, Solas and IB this time. BW had a *very* interesting conversation with one of the nobles... that I don't think I would've noticed in my first PT. With Solas, I didn't expect his reaction to the ball, so that was nice.

Hmmm...I may go for it then.  I tried to play with Vivienne to check it out and was unimpressed by the spirit blade and can't seem to work out how to use it when I am very skittish on the field.  I use fade step and mind blast constantly, so was worried it wouldn't work for me.  But...I could go completely different and get into the thick of things by completely re-specing...
