I am looking for this one piece of art on Tumblr...it had the IQ and Solas discovering a campsite but it was littered with bears rolling about. It was very funny.
oooooh what's your tumblr if you don't mind me asking?

As far as being a KE, Sullastine, my current Quizzie, went KE. I've been running a dual mage party with she and Dorian. They both have Winter's Grasp and Immolate, so it makes dishing out a lot of spell damage quickly very easy which makes keeping up the barrier very easy along with comboing for Focus. Then, I like using the skill where you go invisible to step into your enemy for high spirit damage on top of using the blade.
Great...Now I want Cullen as teammate as well...
And yet, that final moment when the Inquisitor comes back home from the most dangerous battle of her life against the most dangerous evil she'll ever know, and she's victorious and she's alive, and her Commander who has been so proper and professional until now just loses it and embraces her in front of everyone, not giving a damn for appearances because she's alive and he loves her so much he just doesn't care anymore... we could never have had that, had Cullen been a companion. Some things are worth the small sacrifices.
Right? The way he did it too...he would bash it and then stand in front of me as if to say "Git ur hands offa my woman." I also did this with the Ser Gilmore mod, where they BOTH did that (for...reasons) LOL!
oh my god i totally gotcha. They both are to die for.
I always did silly things with alicat like that. Like stop and have him and the warden stare into each other's eyes while playing. Lol I'm weird.

OK....
Quizzie is an ice mage (with 1 quick electricity and fire spell for zapping while mana regens). She has fade step as well. She is ready to specialize and doesn't know what to pick!!
I have two types of teams I bring with me....dagger-rogue/swordnsheild/mage OR archer-rogue/sword-n-sheild/two-handed. I always try to have 2 melee and two ranged in the total party, so that I can still do everything I want to do, but not be unbalanced when we fight.
I only play on normal, though, cause I am not very good.
I like being an an ice mage cause it goes along with my character...she is my fan fiction gal. But I could respec her. I like playing ranged cause I like to control things from the edges, which is why I think KE is not a great choice for me in this run.
First and foremost I respect the fact that you are making your character grow/level up in a way you see her going. I also do that with some of my character like for my cold mages I have them go into the Ice tree and what not.
However, what tactic I use when it comes to mages is making them a bit of everything. So I have my mages that I am not writing for go into Lightning, Ice, and Fire which means whenever it comes to an enemy I am covered on all fronts. Then I invest in KE which covers the physical aspect if an enemy is resistant to magic or is starting to directly attack you. I also invest in the barrier tree up until the point it decreases the threat level your mage(s) produce.
When it comes to the tank of the party make sure they have War Cry which taunt all nearby enemies and gives them guard. Always focus on your tank gaining guard and being a damage dealer with their S&S. If you have enough guard and cast barrier from time to time on your Tank then you will not have to worry about the upgrades that make them more resistant to damage even on Nightmare.
For rogues with daggers make sure to have their threat reduced and if you follow the above steps you can even take control of the rouge without worrying that your mages or warriors will fall. I also typically invest in stealth for them and then after that I focus on their specialization. Right now my Cole has daggers that each have a 440 DPS so he can be extremely deadly as long as I keep him controlled. The key to investing in a rogue is making sure they do a lot of damage be that due to their weapons, critical chance, or penetration/bleeding; but also being able to slip away when needed to that is.
For archers I really just invest in the archery tree, then I make sure they have stealth and threat reduction...after all that I dive into their spec. They are pretty simple to handle once you level them up correctly.
Lastly for Two-Handed Warriors I make sure they are resistant to damage and have war cry. They deal a lot of damage but are extremely squishy so make sure they are have abilities that constantly generate guard.
Does this make sense, lol?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO I RAN OUT OF LIKES FOR THE DAY...well this is a first...curse you all for your likableness, lol!

Oh? What does she do? I'm always so transfixed with Cullen just radiating love for his Quizzie in that scene that I can't even look at anything else...

OMG...this is the MOST useful information i have ever gotten!!!
I am gonna go buy some pendants from the undercroft and get busy!!!!! Seriously, it is super helpful just to have some key elements to focus on. I can do this!
THANK YOU!!!!!

I'm looking forward to this part in my Cullen romance playthrough.

That sacrifice is so worth it. Hearing the music climax in the blackground while the camera zooms into their embrace was one of the most heartfelt moments in the game for me. Upon returning to Skyhold, I was pretty frustrated with the lackluster conclusion to Corypheus and the Breach, but coming home to that instantly made everything better ![]()

I wish he hadn't waited until she'd got up the steps and bowed though. I wanted him to literally run over to her the minute he saw her walking into the courtyard, lol.

She just smiles like she understands how Cullen and the IQ are feeling in the moment.

I would like this..but I reached my quota...anyway glad to be of service!
Oh and a little extra advice make sure when you craft your armor to have some of the enhancements to focus on your heal bonus or even better your heal bonus and your constitution. I have my mages and Cole up to the same level of health as Cassandra which has around 8 or 9 health...spaces I guess you would call them.
She just smiles like she understands how Cullen and the IQ are feeling in the moment.
I really don't understand why some people hate Leliana and complain that she is not who she used to be. You can bring her back to who she once was, but even then she is not going to be the same innocent Leli we saw in DA:O...she wasn't even innocent then...I swear some people just make no sense to me.
Right? The way he did it too...he would bash it and then stand in front of me as if to say "Git ur hands offa my woman." I also did this with the Ser Gilmore mod, where they BOTH did that (for...reasons) LOL!
I set things up that way with my mages, but I had even more fun with two warriors I specced almost identically with Alistair. They were like a battering ram in front of my mage and archer, I could see them doing exactly the same thing in unison (it was particularly fun with the shield bash). It looked great with the warden queen, but even better with my Aeducan warrior and just fit her personality to have a shield mate and lover. It was absolutely best when they fought in the Provings for Harrowmont as a pair, I wanted to record those fights...
I find DW rogue is a bit hard to control. Cole dies really fast if I don't control him...And sometimes, my rogue quizzie is just about to make final death blow, Blackwall send them flying away with his shield or Dorian make them run away and that move ends up cutting through air...thanks a lot,guys...First and foremost I respect the fact that you are making your character grow/level up in a way you see her going. That and they don't quite get the idea of people changing over time. No one stays the same, no matter how they seem on the outside. I love this new Lel, though I try to unharden her some, I don't want Divine Blood-running-in-the-Chantry, thanks ![]()

What I find odd is that people complained that she was too goody-goody, but when they toughened her up people were outraged lol.
There's this youtube vid a OP posted for the thread about Iron Bull & BDSM, and I simply can't get over its perfect thumbnail picture:
I can see it now. "A comprehensive guide to Qunari BDSM and blinding poor Cullen".

Cullen is absolutely fried gold in that scene, he's so comical!

Cole died really fast for me up until the point I crafted him some armor that increased his health and then gave him a belt that upped his resistance to melee damage to 20%. Once I took control of him and got the hang of the DW I have little fear when rushing to battle a dragon on Nightmare. I typically use Hidden Blades then have him go into stealth, appear beside the enemy and then do that one move where he rushes forward and back and then goes back into stealth. Lol the AI has been derpy for me at times, but I think I got lucky compared to some. Cass has never failed me in keeping the hate of those attacking us and staying alive. Solas keeps casting barrier and dealing damage. Really the only problem I had was with Cole's AI.

Although I liked who she was in Origins, I love the way her character arc has progressed throughout the games so far. She has some of the most depth of all the characters in the series. And I like that she hasn't gotten her peaceful ending yet even with her putting up a wall between her true feelings, those of us who played DAO can sometimes find a little shimmer of the old Leliana peeking through. It's amazing.
