I like the IDEA of Divine Leliana, but I don't think it has much chance of working out well long-term.

I disagree. I actually think Leliana as divine is the best choice. I think it's what she needs to have some peace with her life. Cass would've HATED not being able to settle disputes with a blade. and Viv is just too manipulative imo. Plus I like the idea Leliana has for creating colleges of magi (elder scrolls style) rather than circles. Seems more progressive.

I love Lel's romance it is so sweet...yet Morrigan always ends up pulling my Warden into her bed at the end...one thing I know is that Leli is a renown ninjamancer.

Well, that was never a problem for me since I never romanced Lel with a male Warden, only a female (though I'd have romanced Morrigan in a heartbeat with a female warden if it was an option). Zev was usually my temptation with Lel. But ninjamancer, omg, yes. The first time it happened to me, one of my warden queens got the heart-broken speech "I won't stand in your way" from Lel after the Landsmeet, and I reloaded a save from before the Landsmeet just to make certain she was still "friendly" and not "love." I have never figured out that particular ninjamance :P

Here is what we do...we gather up Leliana, Vivienne, and Cassandra...put them in a machine that combines their minds into one singular being with the best aspects of all three and then we insert that mind into Mother Giselle with her's still active and BOOOM PERFECT DIVINE!

What does he say exactly? Do you remember or have a link...those of us who had our Warden be his Queen or Mistress heard nothing regarding their relationship...

Ahem...Harding...

XD I may have my moments, but I never would go that far...or at least like the outcome!

Blackwall was the first to comment on her to me, though he may have had more reason than most to be worried :P  Well, Iron Bull comments on doing research on her, and that he'd always had a thing for red heads, but he doesn't seem worried by her.

hahahahahahaha I did not see the mother Giselle thing coming. But you know what... her alone would make the best divine out of any of them actually. She has the stereotypical Divine persona

I totally thought Mother Giselle would be a candidate for the next Divine.

Well I played DA:O so many times when my character gets the "I feel so comfortable taking watch with you and when I fall asleep and see you still there...I feel so safe." and then the talk about the stars and lovers...I'm like. "Yep I just got ninjamanced for the twentieth time." Then it is so awkward because I choose the option that says Leliana is a great friend...since those characters I am playing as are going for Morrigan, Alistair, or Zevran.

I have this as one of my go to saves.  Crestwood, 21:13.  I replay it from time to time.  Because all the lines are done SOOOOOOO well! The sadness, the angst!!!  Gah!!!  I miss Alistair!!! :(

Ahhh that brings back fond memories of my Dwarf Noble warrior fanboying about shoes. THAT was rather comical.

Mmhm she would had been my top choice.

I totally thought she was going to be as well. I don't know if that is cut content or if Bioware eliminated her being Divine because she would had been the "easy" choice. For the life of me I hope they at least realized she would had been perfect for Divine...if not then that is a big miss, lol!

I always liked having the conversation with her about Alistair in front of Alistair, and pick the option that led to "oh we were just discussing how you treat her in bed," just to fluster Alistair. Usually with Wynne in the background because there's nothing like being embarrassed about your lovelife in front of your grandmother...

I like her while roleplaying as an Andrastian.  She seemed a little patronizing while playing as a Dalish (who never stopped believing the elven pantheon).  That, and I didn't appreciate how she acted towards Dorian.

I swear, I misheard him the first time and thought he said she'd died and I was like "WTF BIOWARE!!!!!!!" But then he continued on to explain where she was... but then I realised that this was all foreshadowing and something bad was going to happen... and it did.

When I started the game, I thought she's the only option for Devine...

Too bad she's not a option. I like her 90% of the time except that one time she gave poor Dorian hard time for nothing he done wrong.

She would've likely been who I chose, I suspect she wasn't because the writers wanted us to have a tough choice to make/discover.

Oh, I'm not saying that the world doesn't eventually needs to go where Leliana wants to take it. I am saying that she wants to take it there much too quickly. You need to spend some time in Cassandra land first with a plan that gradually changes Cass-land into Leli-land. It needs to happen over decades, not in the blink of an eye, so that the people have time to adjust to the changes in small increments. And you need to make sure those programs don't get derailed in the process.

Oh, I did... once I hit the Abyss quest and had to pick between Alistair or Hawke (I sacrificed Hawke... I couldn't ever do that to Alistair, I'm too emotionally attached to him and my Warden).

Oh I chose that option right in front of him too and Wynne...I still miss her and it sucks they killed her off in Asunder. She was quite the tease I mean she commented on how Alistair was focused on my Warden's hips and made him all bashful and flustered. Leliana, Wynne, and Alistair were my favorite team in DA:O. I need to play it again...but it would be so hard without a voiced Protagonist.

Yeah, if I can manipulate things right, Cass will be Divine in all my PTs except when I romance her.

Cullen romancers: I have a question.

I never understood his appeal until well into this game. I'm playing a Keeper's First who started off prejudiced against him for being a human Templar who dedicated his life to imprisoning mages and supporting the Chantry that outlawed the elven religion. However, as my character got to know him, he really grew on her. By Skyhold, after I (the player) learned that he's the only adviser who successfully saves Clan Lavellan from being attacked, my character started to consider him a friend since he saved her people. By the Wicked Grace game and the Chess game, she really started to consider him a dear friend; and I imagine their bond sealed after she helped him with his lyrium addiction.

However, she wouldn't dream of flirting by that point since she was already committed to Solas. While I love Solas for her for this playthrough, now I'm seriously tempted to make another Keeper's First who slowly falls for Cullen; but I don't want her to start flirting with Cullen right off the bat. Like my current character, I want him to slowly grow on her as her prejudices against Templars are proven wrong.

So, my question is: How late is too late to start flirting? I've heard some romances are harder than others; like, you have to pick every flirt option from the very beginning and keep at it for them to reciprocate. (*cough*Solas*cough*) Since Cullen is pretty tight-laced, I imagine it's like that for him. While my character will be polite at first and friendly later, I don't want her to start flirting until after they get to Skyhold; preferably after the "rescue Clan Lavellan" war table mission.

Is that too late to start flirting and keep the romance going?

omg, the shoes? Well, that explains a lot... :P

I cracked up when I saw in the "improve morale" mission, her advise is "let's get them new shoes."

Shoes are important for soldiers but I kinda worry they ends up with those ones with blue ribbons, because "now they have pretty feet!", so I followed Cullen's advise instead...

I never ever managed to pop that conversation with Leliana about Alistair's performance in the sack, LOL!
