Yeah, I can't stand that I only have access to a few and can't add another quick bar or something. I've seen my dudes use other ones while they're on AI (like the bring you  back from the dead one), so I just hope they keep doing that on their own.
 
The other thing that bugs me is I'm stumped sometimes as to why some of my abilities aren't reset. There are too many times when I'm sure the countdown must've reset and I seem to have enough stamina/mana... and mousing over tells me... nothing. Grr. So sometimes  just click angrily anyway. LOL 
 
SO there you go... I'm the PC player you wish your player would never be.

I really don't understand all the restrictions on ability slot...once switched my rogue from archer to DW. Started a fight then realised I changed weapon but not abilities...that's just...annoying.

And let's be honest. Cullen as a red templar would've been emotional for anyone. Not just us Cullenites. 

 

I'm surprised no attempt was made to try and force him to take it, actually. Even when you pass judgement on Samson I was expecting him to taunt Cullen about how wonderful it is or something just to really get to him.

Naw, she wouldn't remember because it happened a year in the future. It's just something she'd naturally do because she's devoted to the Inquisition, she'd do it without a second thought and she knows she would, thus her response.

Well, Samson got to him anyway if the throwing knives scene is anything to go by, LOL!

 

Honestly, I'm not sure I'd even let Cullen deal with him if it wasn't the only way to trigger that scene (or so I've heard). I'm not sure I want some red lyrium addict knocking about Skyhold. Plus, Samson say's the red lyrium that he'd been taking whilst wearing the suit was starting to take it's effect now his suit is powerless so it's only a matter of time before he starts deforming and spouting the stuff... I don't want that growing in my dungeons!

Omg that scene is so great. I let him deal with him too bc I was pretty benevolent in my first PT and didn't have anyone in the dungeon. But seriously he's freaking dangerous! It's kind of depressing actually how many of the templars Hawke helped/dealt with ended up turning over to the red lyrium.

I've actually never taken him along because Dorian was always there, but that's an interesting thought. I assume at that point the world is so far overboard that any ancient elven issue that was of importance has lost its value in comparison to what Alexius/Corypheus did to the world.

Varric and Iron Bull are so annoyed about being stuck in a dungeon with red lyrium for a year, it's actually kinda amusing. Both are happy to die to help the Inquisitor though since they're both dying anyway.

Speaking of emotional scenes, I was hoping Corypheus or either Samson/Calpernia would've tried to target our love interest (or closest companion if you don't romance anyone). Could you imagine if they'd managed to kidnap Cullen or something, especially if it was Samson via the pro-mage path since they actually know each other etc.

Yeah, I didn't take him since I had Dorian already, but in my conversation with Solas after, one of us mentioned that he'd been there, too.  I guess the code assumes you take your LI with you? Made me both glad and not glad I hadn't brought him along.

I was really surprised by Sera's reaction. I knew she'd be pissed off at Alexius but she was a lot more serious and distraught than I thought. I tried the joking "I'm a ghost" line and she did not find it funny lol

no that scene will also trigger if you send him to kirkwall(for execution), though the dialogue will vary somewhat, not sure what happens if you do anything else, as ive only tried sending him to kirkwall or handing him over to cullen.

• the massive war table in Skyhold was made from The Peace Tree - a symbol of peace between two forgotten factions that had been cut down before the fortress was built
• at first Skyhold was supposed to reflect player’s choices even more than now; everything would depend on Inquisitor’s approach to solving problems (military might, social influence, secrecy and intrigue), so if the player would mostly choose Leliana’s way of getting things done, there would be more “shadowy accessories” around Skyhold to reflect Inquisition’s dependence on spy games and subterfuge
• Josephine wears rich materials, so she constantly looks ready to meet important dignitaries

• Blackwall, as the sturdy and weathered warrior, is an example of “the ideal Warden”, the kind of hero from old stories for children
• The Fade was designed to be a place where players can’t feel safe (“you’re watched by a thousand eyes”), a place where no mortal foot was meant to step
• The Arbor Wilds was inspired by primal forests in New Zealand and Vancouver Island

It's so interesting hearing about the devs' thought processes as they created these games. I do wish they would've kept the "skyhold changes based on your actions" idea. That was something I was really looking forward to during the hype. Maybe they'll add something as a DLC but I won't get my hopes up.

though im not entirely sure if he is going to be executed, but based on the convo with Cullen it is somewhat implied, because he is very pleased about you sending him to kirkwall in that dagger scene, not so much if you hand him over to him, though he begrudgingly accepts it.

When I brought Varric with me, I was kind of hoping he'd have something to say about the red lyrium, like he was in his idea of hell or something.  Instead he joked about it and we exchanged quips. Ha.  I suppose either reaction is in line with his character.

Speaking of Calpernia I don't believe this has been the last time we have seen her. PW said during NA's podcast that if Calpernia is as popular with the fans as she is with Bioware then she will be back...O_O

More interesting details about Solas:

What feels so critical about the information Patrick Weekes gave in his  interview at Nerd Appropriate, is that Solas is someone who both admires and practices thoughtfulness and intelligence in all that he does. As Weekes says, “[Solas] is always the person who is going to look for more thoughtful solutions”, even if that means being ruthless or unkind.

 

This is also true of his relationship with a romanced Lavellan. In the interview, Weekes reveals that Solas was planning on sharing his true identity with Lavellan, to tell her he is Fen’Harel, but he backs away at the last second. Telling Lavellan the truth is not thoughtful; telling Lavellan the truth is not intelligent. It is reckless and damaging, but Solas’s feelings for her have tempted him into an action that is so counter to who he is, because he loves her. He wants her to know who he is: and it is feeling not intellect that determines this.

 

In the end, however, Solas seems to realise how thoughtless and stupid he would be behaving, and how much the truth might/would hurt not only her but their cause, and so—although it is not the ‘nice guy route’, to quote Patrick Weekes—Solas breaks both of their hearts.

What is crucial, too, amongst all of this: is that it does not change the fact that Solas uses intelligence and thoughtfulness to excuse his cowardice.

 

Emotional cowardice, but practical strength. In a meta sense, we don’t have access everything Solas knows. He certainly seems to believe that telling Lavellan wouldn’t change what’s to come and only lead to more emotional devastation in the long run. He could be wrong. Lavellan might understand and be able to provide a new perspective on what knowledge he has, sharing the burden he’s carried alone for so long. It was never hers to bear, but she might have accepted it willingly.

 

But he could also be right. In telling her who he is, Solas might have made Lavellan a target for beings we haven’t even dreamed of yet. Had she taken the news poorly and turned him out, then the Inquisition might have faltered. The world could have been lost due to another of his mistakes. That was a risk he was not willing to take.

 

Solas made a painful choice. Only time will tell whether it was the right one.

No, I had that convo option in both my Cullen romance PT and my Dorian one.  I think it's just a glitch that it always thinks he was with you even if he wasn't.
