Delurking(again) to say I'm confident that Cullen will be a companion.
But I'm totally cool with it if I'm wrong and he ends up not being a companion. I trust the DA team will do a good job with his romance(considering I haven't been disappointed with any of DA romances so far). c:

I'm pretty active on another forum but it's so much smaller (and less intimidating) than this one. Everyone here seems to be so nice though, so I'll just keep myself firmly planted in this thread instead of venturing out

I wonder why there wasn't a confirmation that he is a companion. He is a LI so that would make sense, right? Unless he is a LI NPC.

Really, there are several reason why they might not have announced him being a companion.
1) He's next up for Follower Friday, so they're keeping the suspense until then.
2) Saying he's a companion might expose something else, like the Grey Warden being a rogue now or out, etc.
3) They don't want to, because they are trolls.
And a few reasons why they wouldn't confirm him as an NPC romance.
1) That announces NPC romances, which they might not want to do yet.
2) Confirming Cullen as NPC all but confirms the Grey Warden as a companion.
3) Trolls. The lot of them.
There are no D-bags in here though. Cullen brings out the best in everyone, he is blessed by the Maker! 
(Truly, I've never come across anyone being horrible in the Cullen Threads, has it ever happened?)

Seems very plausible. Plus, I'm sure that either way they would be bombarded by questions (Even more so than now) as to the extent of each companion's inclusion/What the heck an npc romance would ensure. I, personally, believe that there is a very high probability of him being a companion, due to the overwhelming evidence leading in that direction. :3
