You explained it much easier than I did. So yes it is his conversation stance and where my IQ and him are kind of glaring at what another...I take that as a stare-down contest! I bet I could trick a few people with that one red lyruim shot...but I am not that cruel.

 

It's interesting because that's not his usual conversation stance, I like that they changed it for that quest to make him look grumpy lol.

 

I wish that nemesis quest had us tracking down Caroll instead of that tranquil guy. I would've loved to have seen Cullen's reaction first hand to seeing the man he once served with in Kinloch Hold that he'd known from before his torture... especially since that's two people from different parts of his story arc that had turned to red lyrium. Missed opportunity.

Probably didn't cross their minds, if his writer didn't know about Carroll but whoever dealt with the side quests/war table quests/environment encounters did they may not have thought to run it past her, or maybe the carroll thing was added in later after the lines had already been recorded. Shame though, would have been a nice way to tie in his experiences across three games.

I really enjoyed it. It's a much better introduction in game to Cole than the alternative too. Flows better. And if you did the lead in to In Hushed Whispers you already know Dorian too. So his arrival later won't be awkward. 

I agree, but I still felt kind of guilty when Dorian said he wished that I would have helped him in Redcliffe

Bull is such a mother hen with his Chargers, isn't he... and so is Cullen if what Varric says about him doting over his troops is anything to go by. Probably why they get on so well because they're both as protective as each other, lol.

I already saw some screens to the quest...so I know pretty much everything there is to know about it...yet I still get "feels" from watching Leliana sacrifice herself In Hushed Whispers. So I don't know which one will be better for me.

I've yet to play the templar route and I've seen a video of it only once - what sort of things does he say to her again? Are you talking about the part where he stabs that figure (which I'm guessing is supposed to be the IQ?) 

 

 

You will eventually come across him sitting in a cell being tried for treason. I don't have a screenshot to share but I know I've seen someone post it here before. He basically blames himself for letting the IQ (Envy-IQ) go too far.

Mirror of transformation is sorely needed, that's for sure! If you play on PC we'll have plenty of cosmetic mods once they're able to add them to the game, which shouldn't be too much of a wait. If the animations are in the files it shouldn't be too hard for the modders to restore dialogue either, especially if it's just that third person semi-ambient stuff. 

 

My guess is the first proper DLC we'll get (beyond armours and stuff) will be to put those Military/Espionage/Commerce Keep customisations back into the game.
