Mirror of transformation is sorely needed, that's for sure! If you play on PC we'll have plenty of cosmetic mods once they're able to add them to the game, which shouldn't be too much of a wait. If the animations are in the files it shouldn't be too hard for the mods to restore dialogue either, especially if it's just that third person semi-ambient stuff. 

 

My guess is the first proper DLC we'll get (beyond armours and stuff) will be to put those Military/Espionage/Commerce Keep customisations back into the game.

I've had many moments of where I think my male or female IQ looks pretty good and then I get into the game and I see some...issues. Have a mirror like that would come in handy.

 

I am getting DA:I for my PC since it can run it at rather high settings...I may go for the highest...we'll see. So hopefully there will be some good mods out by the time I start working on a PC PT.

 

Ah yeah I remember that feature from one of the gameplay videos. It seemed like a cool concept, but to be honest I am fine without the option for now. I would much rather prefer story DLC versus something like that. Yet who knows how long it will take for them to come up with a good story DLC. I say perhaps March or April...and then Xbox has exclusivity to them for a while.

And then he stabbed her other form from behind.

 

Yeah, it wasn't a good moment.

Also, I love the way he delivers the "Tell me Herald, in your mind..." line, effin' BAMF!

I dunno if you've noticed, but in the Inquisitor's bedroom there's a large mirror under a white sheet... I'll put money on that being the mirror of transformation once they release it as DLC.

Is there also a chest in the IQ's room? I thought I saw one in that little back area where you could climb up onto...I guess a balcony overlooking your bedroom.

I love me some Cullen, but I felt quite the opposite o.O

 

That was a mental image I did not want associated with Cullen, Demon or no.  But, Envy successfully got to me (my Inquisitor).

I wonder if the modders and dataminers have found out any new information in DAI?

 

So far they've discovered something about a main quest being removed that involved the Inquisitor attending a wedding, that at one stage going to have a female Qunari companion, that Cullen was going to be bisexual, a full description of what's going on in the post-credits scene... I think that's all I've heard so far? I bet there's loads of stuff to discover still.

I totally thought I'd be able to click on a bunch of stuff and get a running commentary about it, like we could in DA2 in Hawke's mansion/Gamlen's house.

You will eventually come across him sitting in a cell being tried for treason. I don't have a screenshot to share but I know I've seen someone post it here before. He basically blames himself for letting the IQ (Envy-IQ) go too far. 
 
That really kicked my Raven in the pants.

What really kicks me in the gut in this scenario is the undertone it takes: he went from turning a blind on Meredith's spiral into madness for needing too much to trust her, to turning a blind eye on the Inquisitor's increasingly tyrannical whims... again, for needing too much to trust her. He's not just blaming himself - he's watching history repeat itself, because he wasn't strong enough to question or stop someone he cared for before it was too late.

Well after Envy said, "I touched so much of you" during the boss fight... I felt... icky.

 

I like how you could bring up what happened to Cullen after the quest, though (not the specifics, just what you had to go through with Envy in general).  If anyone could empathize in the Inquisition's inner circle, it would be him.

One of the DAI devs said to me that if they hit all their goals with DAI and won GOTY etc then EA would want them to release the next DA game a lot sooner than the time it took them to do DAI... obviously the engine is all in place now, which likely took up a huge chunk of the game's development time, so at least DA4 will have all it's development time focused on actually creating the game, rather than mastering the engine etc.

Well hopefully we will get some new novels out during that time. And who knows maybe the development time will be shorter since BW has pretty much mastered Frostbite. I almost willing to bet that they have had some of DA4 planned since DA:O. The question is...will EA be as lenient as they were with BW this time.

The game horizon looks pretty bleak for the next couple years...no new Elder Scrolls or Fallout in the near future...we've got at least a couple years on ME4. 

 

At least come springtime I think I will be over my "OMG MUST PLAY INQUISITION ALL ZE TIME!" streak so I can go outside and start playing with my new photography toys. I also have like two years worth of RAW files to dig through and finalize...being dry on the game front might not be a bad thing for me lol.
