I really don't have any complaints about the romance scene. To me it was very hawt and totally works with his normally tight-laced and controlled character. That bottle breaking was like the *snap* that he needed to go from tightly controlled to REOWR!

 

• Armor - It makes sense for him to still be in his armor because he's still working when the scene starts. it's not like he's wearing that ginormous massive armor you can get in DA:O. He's pretty much just wearing a breastplate and bracers. In the cutscene you can see that he's supporting himself with one arm. What we don't see when the scene fades out is that he probably gets off her pretty quickly to get the armor off. I can easily imagine in my head some frantic armor-removal attempts on her part only for him to have to help her. Then again, I use CheatEngine, so my IQ is always wearing her own armor. So frantic armor-removal on both their parts ensues. 
• Downstairs to Upstairs - Downstairs happens at night. I imagine they sealed the deal on the desk (maybe on the floor, or both). The next part of the scene happens the next day. What's to say they didn't get partially dressed and go upstairs to spend the rest of the night? What we see is her getting ready for the day - she obviously got up before he did. Yes, I could totally appreciate the scene being different and showing them spooning under a snuggly blanket or something, but I'm still ok with what we got. The head-butting scene is very touching. 

 

^^ Tots agree, I honestly am still chuffed that he's a romance after all the wait and uncertainty about his role in DAi. But the bolded part --> the image of my pc and Al making out in their massive armours, hee hee hee.

So I just loaded up the game post-final battle and went to see Cullen (to record the creepy face she makes), the messenger was in his room and he was handing her a list of Templars he was trying to track down, which is something that was supposed to pop before I killed Carroll, LOL!

... the option to drink from the well. My first playthrough was as a mage, so the dialogue completely made sense. You can tell Morrigan that she's not the only mage present, you can ask the other mages in your party if they would drink it, or you can choose to drink it. I was a little shocked that I had the exact same options for my second playthrough where I rolled a fighter. I expected not to be able to and I was a little disappointed. I thought that it would have been a nice variation if you'd chosen to play a mage vs another class. Not only that, but why can you not ask ANY other party members to drink the well if it's possible for non magic users to do so? The anchor doesn't give the inquisitor power over other magics. Also, what about Dwarves who have a natural magical resistance? How would that work?? So, did anyone else think this was weird or surprising, too?

Oops! I think my response to your post was uber confusing. Some of the agents you gather in the field save time for your advisors. I have the Prima Guide too, but perhaps these agents don't save enough time to have any impact?

 

It doesn't affect the completion time enough to distort the "preferred" one. I currently have all the agents Cullen can possibly have under him (Vale, Ser Barris, Michel, Berand, Loranil, Clemence, and the Blades), and even with all that considerable reduction for his estimated times, you can still tell when Josie or Leliana is the preferred one.

 

There's a cap to how much agents affect advisors, anyway: you can recruit all the agents each advisor can have, but only the first four you recruit will actually affect the time. The others will be there for further war table missions, just to hang around at Skyhold... and for roleplaying purposes, I suppose. I knew Michel and Loranil wouldn't affect Cullen anymore by the time I got around to recruiting them because he'd capped out long ago, but I couldn't just leave them sitting there in the wilderness when they could be doing good work with the Inquisition.

I only played through this scene once and I was rushhing it, hence it is possible that I missed something obvious but I remember wondering why my Inquisitor brough being a mage when nothing before that indicated that it was in any way preferable to be one in order to use the well. Afaik it was more down to understanding Elven lore/language in order to fully take advantage of the knowledge from the well. I guess all ancient elven artifacts and what have you have magic in them so I guess it could give them an edge but my circle mage steered clear from the thing. I brough this up since I had Solas in my party and I thought he might have some interesting insight about it. His answer made me even more certain I did not want to risk drinking from the well with my human.

It wasn't because she was a mage, it was because of her study and training in elven lore and history.

Greg recorded a voice actor feature video like the ones for Steve Valentine, Claudia Black, Indira Varma, Ramon Tikaram, etc. But they were never able to release it, because it had audio issues they weren't able to resolve, even after outsourcing the video to another place to clear up the sound. Specifically, apparently Slipknot was recording in the next studio and the sound leaked all over Greg's recording, lol thanks Slipknot.

 

So we know at some point we were supposed to get a video of Greg being cute, but it shall never happen. Sadness and woe are us.
