It's even worse when you get to the point where you can't turn things in, like with the malachite that's uber rare to drop and you probably sold long before you realised you needed it, or the dwarven stuff from the Hissing Wastes, or the Ferelden Locks that stop dropping once you clear the Hinterlands...

Can someone tell me what this armor is called and where it comes from??  I'm thinking I want to go for "original recipe" Solas instead of sexy ancient elven armor Solas.

Ah that explaines a lot. Jeremy Soule's stuff dose tend to be very epic. If memory serves me correctly he's scored the majority of Bioware's early games like BG II and NWN and I think he did IWD and IWD II as well.

 

Soule's the one doing Skyrim music right? That one is really something. Love his take on ambience music in Skyrim. He's doing really great job. I'm sorry to say this but DA:I's ambience music is not at the same scale as Skyrim's (okay I'm a huge skyrim exploration fan)

 

 

Writing is an incredibly strange experience for me. 

 

I've had characters change gender, age, race, sexual orientation, ect, but it's never like... A conscious choice I make. I'll have a general idea of what I may be going for, but then as I try to find a voice for said character, I'll get this nagging feeling that something's off. Said nagging won't go away until I find out what the source of the disgruntlement is. It's like the characters are trying to tell me something's not quite right, but they can't explicitly tell me, so I have to play a game until I finally figure it out. That is how my... Main, I suppose, character ended up from being male to female.

 

Even had one of my favorite characters decide to die on me. It was a disheartening day.

Yeah I know what you want to say. I face same thing trying to write fanfics.

 

Actually everytime I started something that's because I have this prompt in mind for the beginning of another story, then I want to make something with heavy lores & challenge every tenets of DA lores & finally the project gets really ambitious & I need to re-read every single lore in the game & finally abandon them. & then the characters are... ouch... difficult to make. The inquisitor/Warden's easier since they can vary a great deal. But pre-made characters (Cullen, Varric, Dorian etc) needs to be consistent with their in-game counterpart.

I think it's a battlemage armour? I'm not 100% sure though. I'll fire up the game later and tell you if you want.

Best place to see whether you love your quizzy's face or not, for me, is when you meet Mother Giselle the first time. There you have the best shot in the best lighting for him/her.
