Scar?! I need to to get me that photo, dammit!
Where'd he get the scar from?

Well... what if we weren't at the explosion? The more I think about it, the more I wonder if we were picked up from somewhere else, because of the multiple tears opening. Perhaps we'd even be able to visit home.
OH! Who wants to take their LI to meet mother? Ha! Imagine Cullen meeting mama Vashoth!
INQUISITOR: Mother, I would like you meet Cullen. He is Kadan.
CULLEN: [SPINE STEEL-STRAIGHT] I am honored to meet you.
MAMA: [STOIC] This one is small.
CULLEN: [GOES PALE]
MAMA: And sickly looking.
INQUISITOR: [EYES NARROW] He is my choice.
MAMA: And you are his?
CULLEN: [FLUSHES RED] I would kill for her. I would die for her!
MAMA: Parshaara. Death is easy. I would have one who will live for her.
CULLEN: I--
INQUISITION: Mother.
MAMA: [FROWNS] Fine. Would you like a cookie?
CULLEN: ...Cookie?
Of course, Cullen would be like this during the conversation...

I just want a close-up screenshot of Cullen's face.
For reasons.
Here's the thing about being picked up somewhere else and spat out at the location of the blast... the devs have repeatedly described it as us being the only survivor of the blast. That sounds an awful lot like we were there, and not that we just showed up afterward. But for why an elf/qunari/dwarf would be at an Andrastean holy site...? I got nothin'.
I'm trying to wrack my brain for it. The thing is, they have to have some sort of combat experience. I don't think we could be a simple dwarven merchant that got mixed up in all of this.
Hmm. Maybe the dwarves are there to re-negotiate the Lyrium trade? Chantry usually controls the Lyrium flow, but the two kinds of beings who use lyrium the most are no longer under Chantry dominion. So that could explain the dwarves.
The qunari and humans are easy. Mercenaries. Even the mages, although I thought Lola said that mages were going to have a special addendum (Tranquil?).
A clan of Dalish could have allied with the mages, especially if they're from Ferelden, as they seem to be friendlier than most clans. All classes would work there, too.
Is that Cullen?
I don't think so, hasn't he got a Tevinter snake thing tattooed to his arm.

It's the hair....it's throwing me off lol!
It DHMG'S jawline isn't itThat scar... As if his face couldn't get any more beautiful, and I don't even find scars sexually attractive normally. What has Bioware done to me?! Not only Cullen but now I'm slightly more attracted to DHMG and I didn't find him appealing at all until very recently!
Oh I don't see the scar! It's not fair! I'm the one with the scar fetish!
*pouts*
It's basically down his lip, in line with his left nostril (your left). It could just be shading, though, too far away to tell.
I must be blind as a bat because I can't see the scar either...

Ah, I kinda see it now...only the pixelation is bringing flashbacks from the PS1 era for me.

Whoa, Cullen looks terrible in extreme closeup! ![]()
Well I'm not going to get my hopes up for a physically scarred Cullen just yet. I think it looks more like shading,
Yeah. I mean, I can see what people think is the scar, but I am nowhere near confident enough to say, yup, that's a scar.
I'd love that, but, well.
Something, something eluvian, something, something, magic.
Profit! ![]()
I like Cullen's new look personally. I think he looks a little more mature than the previous games. Scars would be inevitable and it kinda gives him a more grizzled vibe for the maturer look. The man has been through a lot, why not I say. I personally find it a little immersion breaking when a character has seen so much battle over time and just completely lacks any scars.
But yea, I'm not sure if that's a scar or just really bad pixelation from the photo...
Not sure if it was posted here but here's MellorianJ's new Cullen art
Yeah Frostbite seems to have made everyone very beautiful. I was just gushing over Leliana a minute ago and I think Varric is almost Hobbit handsome for a dwarf. I think Cullen is definitely beautiful in the trailer but even so at the moment I actually prefer his appearance in DA2. I liked the weariness of face and expression there. This will probably change when we get clearer pictures but it's how I feel for now. ![]()

I'm looking forward to seeing Cullen in a close-up. Let me see his eyes, Bioware! His eyes and cheekbones!
And his hipbones. Mmmm...
Ugh still can't preorder through eb games my 360 version. But I may wait to get the uber version...there's suppose to be more details coming out about that one.
