That just makes him sexier, imho :) Body language can often do a better job of conveying feelings than words. I love cornering my hubby into talking about emotions, only for him to end up frustrated, and going directly for the prize like Cullen does on the battlements :D

I'm so sorry, but I can't help myself.

Do you mean the question mark stance? The female animations have that too... Very graceful, I must say  <_<

Question mark stance!  Perfect description! Exactly!

Yeah, the gals do it too, but they tend to add a shoulder slump, where he doesn't seem to as much.  But it could just be that same stance on a male form looks a little different.

Ahhh Cullen...he can do no wrong! ;)

Well I didn't do this so much with the Sims 4, but my neighborhoods typically turned into a soap opera full of affairs.  I half expected to get a Game Over after all my Sims ended up related to each other

oh man in sims I caused so much chaos and drama, but my fav sims game will always be sims 2 the drama I caused in hoods I had sims so mad at each other they would be fighting each other left and right  Not to into Sims 4 though I might try it and start mpdding for it although I haven't modded sims in ages

Chapter 10 of "Path of the Dreamwalker" is now posted!

If you haven't read yet, here are some details:

Summary: Scarred by war, torn apart by conflict, and tormented by chaos, Thedas is falling into shadow. The land’s destiny has been broken, and there is only one who can reshape it and set things back on course. Mortals fight for power while ancient Gods fight to be remembered. Can one broken Templar’s wish change the flow of time? (Cullen/F!Inquisitor/Solas)

Very well put!  I am also a fan of Cullen's hands and the way he is always rubbing his neck.  All such subtle things in there, and they do seem intentional.  The folks who made him loved him too, meethinks!!

Another Cullen thing...does anyone else notice how he walks with his hips jutted out and his chest sorta caved in?  i noticed it right away because my first boyfriend used to walk like that.  I am pretty sure it is a Cullen specific walk...I don't see any of the other characters move in this way...

You mean this?

erKQqMI.gif

He walks like my dad. My lil' sis was over and I pointed that out-we broke out laughing hysterically for an hour straight. The Inquisitor does this sometimes too, especially the Templar scene at Therinfal Redoubt, after beating demons up. I have to admit I'm not sure if this makes me like Cullen more or not.

And yes I also think Cullen is a I-crave-touches person. And that he's more of a mabari guy than cat. A lot of military/law enforcement types are extreme dog lovers. The kind of stalwart loyalty and sense of duty/responsibility isn't found in cats. I have both and I love both, but my dog will always have that chunk of my heart. Cats just have spunk and look cute. They're more aloof of course, and it takes more to warm them up, but Cullen's kind of personality strikes me as a dog lover.

And that's good because I headcanon my Trevelyan to be an enthusiast for mabari hounds and horses. (I've got a pit bull myself and OMG they are ADORABLE!)

It kind of depends on how traumatic the break-up was though. Like the Solas thing is some crazy ass sh!t lol And it's why I could never romance Steve Cortez. "Sorry about your husband...... hey, btw, wanna go get busy in the back of the Kodiak?"

Well, to make a long story short...it was not good. I was 25, he was 26. He left me for an 18 year old he met while working a 2nd job. Yeah, it hurt. But I didn't even realize at the time that the relationship was overly controlling on his part. It forced me to grow up and get a life and get a real job...so now I have a good job, make good money, and am overly independent. If he met me now he wouldn't even know what to do with me... Him? He's still a douchenozzle...but is now a balding douchenozzle...

Lol. I think it we could switch minds whenever the other was making an IQ from a race that is difficult for them to make...I think we could make some pretty stellar IQs, or downright nightmarish ones!

That one song had me so happy...and this one...just the feels...this band...

Spoiler

I shall be checking out this band tomorrow...  :D

Awww I want a cat in DA:I... We had one (or Anders had one) in Awakening. And Wynne can get a staff who summon a cat no...?

Spoiler

Cullen seems to be more a Dog person than Cat person... Ander's definitely Cat person. Alistair's Dog person. Fenris... Dog maybe?

Sebastian I can't imagine, probably Cat or no pet.

Zevran I can't say

Leliana... nug. Shaved Rabbit (anyone care to explain the appeal of a Nug? I really didn't get it)

Morrigan:no pet.

Merrill: Kittens & puppies

Isabela: a parrot. She's a pirate! Definitely a Parrot.

Kittah rules all! This is totally Cullen telling Dorian to get his cat off the game board, but kittah wuvs Cully-bear:

I'll shop a dog in there tomorrow for ya lolz

I hate this kind of prejudice against cats :( My cats are more than just spunky and cute. They constantly surprise me with how much they love me. They're so incredibly needy it's ridiculous. I'd definitely never use the word "aloof" to describe them. They're pretty much love sponges.

I have six cats and two dogs, and let me tell ya...people that say cats don't have loyalty or show affection are totally not right. I have a cat that greets me every single morning. He jumps up onto two feet and does "tap tap mommy" with his front paws on my knee to get luvins. When I go to bed I say "it's bedtime" and he meets me at the door to go to bed and then tucks me in every night. During the week he knows I don't have time for snuggles in the morning, but on the weekends he knows he gets snuggles each morning.

My dogs? My Pomeranian is a smart bug-eyed little creep, and my Olde English Bulldogge is as dumb as a box of rocks...

It is a song that will make you think twice...that is for sure. Be prepared for the feels if you imagine that Cullen and the IQ fought just before she left, and she came back in a coffin :crying:

This is why the IQ's death should had been an option, I would never choose that for my canon...but I would had loved to see the ending if she or he had died and how each LI reacted to the news.

How do you guys think Cullen would react?

Well, turns out I was right to feel wary about contacting that artist. They pretty much wagged the finger at me and told me not to repost it as my own. Like, okay, I was giving you a compliment... sheesh.

Oh well, at least I can still enjoy the beautiful art <3 :)

Have you ever checked out Five Finger Death Punch? Half their stuff is barky, but the other half is amazing power-ballads and MY GOD can the lead singer sing. One of my favorite bands out there:

@curiousartemis sorry if what I wrote offended you. I'm probably thinking that from a dog person's perspective and it's by no means to insult or to say cats are a negative thing.

Maybe "it takes longer for them to warm up to you" is a better phrase? I haven't had cats come up to cuddle with me. Greet me, definitely, but unless I'm busy they have no interest in my company haha. I've had cats most of my life, my first pet was a cat. It's really no fun chasing a cat to try to interact with them, I'm not a fan of that kind of game. But I respect that, they like doing their own thing. I've only had one cat that was a cuddlebug and he was a great friend. I miss that guy...

Maybe I have an extreme bias towards dogs because I work my pup. We work together on detection work so my bond with her is pretty deep. I like the power breeds, GSDs, pit bulls, rotweillers, etc. Like if mabari hounds were real I'd be over the moon! I've put a lot more work into my dog than my cat, that's for sure. I mean...I fed my cat out from my hand, pretty much bend to his every whim. He's bitten me plenty more times than my dog ever will. I don't take the bites as an insult, but sometimes it's so crazy and I'm bleeding pretty bad from it and I resigned to think myself not a cat whisperer by any means.

I mean I think of Cullen as a dog person because if I were to reach out to touch him I don't think he'd clamp down my hand and do that bicycle kick cats like to do LOL

Sorry, but I just have to refute this whole idea that cats are aloof and just look cute. I have struggled my entire life with clinical depression, and my cat (RIP) was so good to me during a particularly bad two year stretch. When I cried, she would literally seek me out from another room, sensing it. She would crawl into my lap, and force her face into my hand, willing me to pet her, trying to make me smile. Her empathy was almost overwhelming at times, and I wouldn't be exaggerating if I said that she saved my life, more than once. No, cats don't show their love or loyalty in the same way as dogs, but please don't dismiss them as being lesser companions for that. They show their love in their own quiet ways, and it is actually very beautiful. :)

That's all I have to say.

You see I am a huge fan of power-ballads...not really screaming or stuff like that.

I've heard of them, but I have never listened to them. I'll have to check them out tomorrow!

I've read theories about the possibility of the Inquisitor dying in a post-ending DLC/expansion.  I'd rather, if the Inquisitor dies, that they die while I'm controlling them (instead of how Hawke went).  And I agree, I'd want it to be an option.  I'd probably pick it out of curiosity (though not leave it as canon, either, depending on circumstance).

I think Cullen would very much be like that painting-- solemn, trying hard to hold in his emotion, and motionless (like the title of the painting) at first.  He'd likely be in shock and denial before breaking down once he was alone- I also picture punching inanimate objects.  Aw, just thinking about this makes me sad :(

Maybe they just don't like you :P I pretty much ALWAYS have a cat in my lap. It's quite annoying, really. They are constantly climbing into my lap or sitting on my shoulder when I'm in my computer chair, or on my desk when I'm working.

I'm not offended, just hate seeing them get a bad rap! They are incredibly needy and loving creatures. My cats are my kids. I'm especially emotional about them right now since one has cancer and it's been difficult to deal with.

When I got the news about my cat, I broke down into sobs. I couldn't stand for about 15 minutes. Both cats were in my lap, sniffing me and trying to comfort me, probably confused about what was wrong! Dear little furballs :)

Gosh ... Sorry. I wonder why they'd even consider that? If you were likely to use the art for your own purposes, you wouldn't really be contacting them, would you? If that is a concern, then why post your commissioned work publicly?

I'm glad you can still enjoy it!
