That's adorable!!

 

I love all animals but do tend to prefer cats to dogs due to their independence... oh and purring, I love the purring!

I think I'd be happy just knowing his an animal person in general, I usually find people who dislike animals *in general* unattractive, maybe because I cannot live my life without them.

My ultimate retirement would be ending up like the crazy cat lady (from the Simpsons) only throw in some dogs, birds, rabbits etc... I could be like that now but I am forbidden from bringing more strays home...

I also think Cullen would be a cat person...eventually He strikes me as someone who'd say he doesn't have time for animals but would slowly form a bond with a stray cat or something. I loved the idea of Skyhold having it's own cat that would just wander around everywhere.

Cullen is busy, working hard in is office as usual.

Cat: Mrrow.

He looks up from his desk and sees a cat staring back at him.

Cullen: How did you get in here?...*sighs* I need to speak with the Inquisitor about that hole in my roof...

He opens the front door and starts to make motions with his hands.

Cullen: Come on now you...out You go...shoo...I have nothing for you here.

Cat: Mrrow.

The intruder instead begins to purr and rubs up against Cullen's legs.

Cullen: *sighs*

He tentatively picks up the cat, holding it far away from him as possible and places it outside.

Cullen: Go bother the cook, I'm sure he has something for you to eat.

Cat: Mrrow.


He closes the door and gets back to work.


A few days later...


Cat: Mrrow.

Cullen: Oh for goodness sake, how many times do I need to put you outside?

The cat ignores Cullen and continues to groom itself on top of his bookcase.

Cullen: You're going to make me move my chair to get to you again, aren't you?

Inquisitor: Cullen?

The door suddenly opens.

Inquisitor: Is this a bad time? I heard you talking to someone.

Cullen: Inquisitor? No I- *blushes*

Cat: Mrrow.

Cullen: *coughs* I'm just having a bit of an animal problem.

Inquisitor: Wait.

An amused smirk appears across her face.

Inquisitor: You were...talking to the cat?

Cullen: Trying to get rid of it more like. No matter what I do it keeps sneaking back in.

Inquisitor: Well, have you thought about letting him stay in your office for a while? He obviously likes you.

Cullen: Inquisitor I have no time for pets and if you haven't noticed already I'm not a exactly a cat person.

Inquisitor: I don't think you get a say Cullen *smiling* it looks like he's already made himself at home.

 

Cullen: *sighs* Fine. As long as he doesn't interfere with my work...he can stay, I suppose.

Inquisitor: Don't worry, I'll still drop by to give you attention if that's what you're worried about.

She runs her fingers through his hair.

Cullen: Very funny.


Later that week...


Cat: mmmrRROOow.

The cat watches cullen eat his lunch, as he does every day.

Cullen: I'm not the Inquisitor you know that doesn't work on me.

Cat: Mrrow.

Cullen:...

He gently places his plate on the floor.



The next day...


Cat: Mrrow.

The cat is perching on Cullen's desk looking at him with adorable eyes.

Cullen:...I put a pillow in here specifically for you to sleep and sit on yet you still choose my desk instead.

Cat: Mrrow.

Without looking away from his paperwork he strokes the cat's back.

Cullen: You don't tell the Inquisitor about this, I won't hear the end of it.

The cat purrs at cullen continues to stroke him.



Some time later...

 

Inquisitor *opening the front door* Cullen do you have a moment?

Cullen: Inquisitor careful, Leo is behind the door.

Inquisitor: Leo? You called him Leo?

Cullen: Well I had to call him something, couldn't keep calling him "that blasted cat"

Inquisitor: *smiling* Leo as in "lion"?

cullen: What?

Inquisitor: Nothing, I just find this side of you adorable.

 

Leo hops on Cullen's desk

 

Cullen: *smiling warmly* Well, as cats go, he's fine I suppose.

 

He gives him a pet

 

Cullen: It's funny, I never particularly liked them to be honest .The last cat I had the misfortune to pet, damn near scratched off my upper lip. Ghastly little beast, it was. Stayed far away from them ever since.

Inquisitor: Hold on a moment, is that how you got your scar?

Cullen: I-*blushes* I'd appreciate it if you kept that story to yourself Inquisitor. I'd still like the respect of my soldiers.

Inquisitor: *grinning* What if I said it was possessed by a demon?

Cullen: You're lucky I love you, you know.

 

That's cute!  I personally like cats better than dogs but I also love the picture of a toddler with a big dog. But you have me convinced that Cullen is a cat person

I think I like both quite equally. Cats are nice and easy to take care of cause they do it themselves but dogs are nice to play with My family has always had both so I'm used to having both around so I guess that's why I don't lean to either side.

This is killing me...First eyebrow is not thick enough, second is pretty close but it keeps giving her this semi-scared looks...Guess it fits her face in transformers though.

Not annoying at all!  It's crafted mage armor - Sturdy Battlemage Armor, with Battlemage Armor Arms and Battlemage Armor Legs. I can't remember all of the materials used, but the silvery flowers are from Royale Sea Silk.

 

EDIT: Here's a shot of the top's front, for a better look at the colors:

I changed the order for my current Cullen romance to the way Nine suggested and wow! I love it, I'm not a rp'er but it seemed to fit just right for my quizzy. Some banters have changed though, some of them I hadn't realised were romance specific and I do miss them but I prefer this new way, Cullen and mage Sienna just seem to have connected better for me *happy dance*.

I was spam clicking random NPC's before the romance was locked in but after the chess scene etc and Cabot (bartender) makes a comment about some people not being happy that I find time to lay with my allies (not exact quote but that's the just of it), I lol'd

I have Sera in my party a lot this time around and took her to the ball, her introduction made me titter lol. I still drag Dorian everywhere, I adore him, he is definately my quizzys best friend along with Cass. It's probably random as I don't control or change tactics or anything but Dorian always seems to manage to catch me with his Barrier spell, no matter where I've ended up on the battlefield, I imagine him yelling "for goodness sake woman will you stand at peace for one damned minute!" I reckon he is under strict instructions from Commander Cullen to protect Quizzy at all costs he has even sacrificed himself on occasion

Off on a high dragon hunt today as Sienna wants to get drunk with Bull, I love how AWR manges to sound that little bit drunker, slurring a little more after each drink lol.

So I am curious, I am playing a female warrior who is romancing Cullen, but I plan on becoming a Templar. I know you can talk to him about it on becoming a Templar and all, but can it make him drop the romance? Since his whole romance arc obviously has a lot to do with him going off Lyrium, I was wondering if it will cause a problem.
